  1. Was at the game. Didn’t seem like his stuff was moving so hit a guy and left a couple over the plate. Progress though!

  2. At this point we all know el paso stats are misleading, and also rehab starts aren’t indicative of shit. Just trying to up the pitch count and be comfortable is all, no worries here

  3. Yikes, that’s a rough stat line. I know he’s just getting warmed up though, so no panic yet.

  4. Literally don’t care about the stats, just that he’s building up and feeling good. We’re not making a deep playoff run without the king

  5. He is fine. Rehab starts are like any MiLB game, stats don’t matter. It is about what was accomplished. Case in point, Luis Campusano.

  6. Campy hits homers here and can’t in the big leagues so take with that what you will

  7. Stats are MEANINGLESS. It’s all about how he feels medically after the fact. This is simply a rehab assignment and start building him up. Not going for a win. Stretch him out. Build him up. Please find out how he feels with certain pitches.

  8. If anyone is concerned with the stat line, don’t be… yet.

King is there to get stretched out and tinker with his mechanics, regardless of performance. I specifically remember Snell and Darvish getting lit up during their AAA rehab stints last year, and then looking like their old selves after being called back up to the main club.

  9. He may have been throwing the same pitch over and over to get a feel for it, like spring training. I’d rather he get roughed up in rehab but get his pitches squared away, than get roughed up in an actual game while he’s trying to get his pitches squared away.

  10. Good. Do that more.

I want to see him pitch his bobblehead.

Dude is coming back, I’m stoked
