POWER RANKINGS: Brewers, Cubs, and Blue Jays lead the pack πͺ (All 30 teams ranked!)
Deep field. He’s done like this. 176. The Rockies win. Seen Robert use the legs today already defensively. A spectacular catch out there in center. Robert hits a fly ball toward the corner in right. Costanos is back and it’s gone. Two-run shot. Robert, it’s four to two. That one just kept carrying. That left the bat looked like a fly ball catchable maybe at the front of the warning track. Not the case. That is an area on this ballpark where the wind just can catch it and keep pushing it. And thank goodness that’s exactly what happened. And Garcia reaches out and gets it in the air. Way in the air. See you later. And on Garcia’s ninth. The Nats are on top. Oh, what a job by Luis Garcia out in front again. But how strong he is. Gets into his legs and he sends another homer out. I mean, that is Wow. Trying to do too much. There’s a drive to right center field. O’Neal Crows. A cruise missile for a grand slam. A laser over the right center field fence into the Bucko Bullpen and a chef’s kiss for O’Neal Cruz. Five nothing Pirates. 18 dingers for Cruz as Walner crushes to right field and deep. Back it goes. And this game is tied. So Matt Walner a game tying two-run homer his 14th and it’s a two- two game some moose ears here in downtown Cleveland and the moose was hungry there no doubter off the bat veteran right-hander Luis Severino on the mound for the athletics 23rd start of the season for Sebie onetw pitch looked fine there struck out Rodriguez on a slider now one Hey, one two and he just struck out Naylor. Two strikeouts now for Severino and he will welcome Randy Orena to the plate. Zeroino has done a really nice job here in this first inning of making the adjustment. Something I think we have seen at times start to snowball. Maybe you’re not quite right mechanically and that’s going to take some time to adjust. 3-2 payoff pitch. Swing and a miss. While Severino does his job in the first, striking out the side. Austin Riley lifts this to right center field. How far is that one going to go? Far enough. It’s another homer. Third of the night for Atlanta. Five-2 Braves here in the seventh. And you see right here, just out over the plate and Austin so strong. Of course, we talk about his opposite field power all the time, and this one was a no doubter. You saw Long put his head down right away. Tack on those runs. Two-1 from Sudter to White. That ball’s hit hard deep to left field. It is gone. Eli White with a three-run home run to put the Braves in front. There’s your car. I don’t want to be holding that sign. Oh, man. On the car’s window. But this ball was down the line. We saw yesterday in batting practice down the line and in right field the ball is jumping and the Braves jump out to an early lead. Winning run at second base and there’s a drive to that and way back. It’s Ben Tendy near the wall. It is gone. Say good night to the White Socks. Taylor Ward drives out a threerun rocket and the cutback is complete. What about your careerhigh 26 bomb? A walk-off bomb. Taylor Ward. Wardy boy goes yard. His third career walk-off home run. 285 and 20 homers for Marte. There’s a drive deep to right field. It’s on his way and it’s gone. Marte sends one into the bullpen and the Diamondbacks strike first in West Sacramento. Sometimes you just have to ask for things. You just have to will it. Candy. Nice job. That’s you get half an RBI for that. He didn’t come with his sinker either. This was a cutter. And I think the approach for the Diamondbacks is the ball’s up in the zone. They’re going to let it go. And Catel did. Burles a line drive to center. Meyers back. It’s gone. Berles hits one to center again. And the Cardinals have broken through. It’s one to nothing. Bases are back loaded now. Marlins really threatening in the air to left. Hit it pretty good. Dominguez back trapped wall. Gone. A grand slam. A one-run game. And another grand slam to the opposite field for Kyle Sters this season. Down 94. Now it’s 9 to8. Please note we’re only in the bottom of the seventh. What a year it’s been for Kyle Sters. There you go. Into the corner. There’s your heartbeat. And there’s your souvenir. Believe it. Captain, he don’t mess around that ball coming into him like that. So much easier to hit. Captain making a nice little victory truck. Tremendous game behind the plate. There it is. Coming into him. Bam. There’s none better. Adamus hits one well and high indeed. And Adamus hits it out of here and the Giants are on the board. That’s their first hit of the game. Stay hot, Mr. Adamus. Home run number 16. You’re as hot as he is. You’re the first guy at the ballpark and the last guy to leave. And he gets a little fast that cuts middle in just above the knee. And the Davis, he is just not missing. Crushed deep right field. Tie game. 22nd homer of the year for Jose Ramirez. And a 59 runs batted in. Well, that didn’t take long to tie it up, did it? With two outs. Struck out the first two batters. Then you get a double and a homer. And a high-fly ball deep right down the line. Will it be fair? That ball is a fair ball and gone off the bat of Josh Low and the Rays take a three-2 lead. Towering fly ball right down the line. He tripled last night. He homers tonight and the Rays lead 3-2. A big gulp on that two-run homer and the Reds take a three nothing lead. I tell you this this young man Ellie de la Cruz is just getting so much better and more efficient in his swing. He’s really leveled out his swing and not lifting the ball as much. But you can see the ball off the bat could stay in the ballpark. So fun to watch him. Young old for two today. Now he has hit in all six games since coming back off the injured list. And he smashes that ball left center field. That one is gone. A solo shot by Young and he ties this game in the sixth inning. And he keeps that hot bat going. Boy, the the roller coaster of emotions in this game. 87 middle down and just crushed at 109 miles an hour. Drill deep to right field. There it goes. See youa. Tie game into the second deck for Gisham. 18 home runs for Trent Gisham. A careerhigh. He has been something this year for the Yankees. 40th riby and a big blow. Swinging a high fly ball left center field deep. Bader going back all the way to the warning track. Leaping up. He can’t get this one. And Trevor Story goes downtown. Man, did he need that. His 16th of the year. And the Red Sox bolster the lead to four to nothing. Sigh of relief by Trevor. We were just talking about it. 0 for 12 coming into that bat. Eighth pitch of that at bat. A change up down the middle. And I mean just all over this one. Now a fly ball. This carries back. It keeps carrying back. It is gone. Cal Raleigh with a rain maker just over the wall in right field. His 42nd home run this year. It’s the most ever by a switchhitting catcher in single season major league history. In the end of deep left field, man. Oh man. Oh man. Home run number 20 of the year. It’s a three-run shot. 7-1 Padres. That’s what’s called a hanging change up. And the 13-year contract with the Giants nullified. Swinging a drive. This one is crushed up into the monster seats and gone. He leaned on that one to make it one to nothing Houston. And that feels like he’s welcoming himself back to an Astros uniform with that shot. That is what Astro fans are accustomed to. Last time they saw that was 2021 in that bright orange Houston jersey. Socks one to deep left field. Back goes Ramos. Looks up at the wall. It’s out of here. Francisco Lindor gives the Mets the lead with his 21st home run of the year. Did he get a change up there? I think he did. Baseball yesterday for Lindor. And now he adds a home run. Only his fifth from the right side this year. He’s been struggling from this side of the plate, but he yanks one over the wall to give the Mets the early lead. And that ball is crushed deep to right field. Forget about it onto the footing of Miller Light Landing. A two-run home run and the Phillies lead it four nothing. Yeah, the old slider that didn’t slide enough. You see Teal trying to get back door. Teal had to reach across the plate and my lord did he put a charge into that. Man, did he hit that far. Freddy Freeman smokes to right field. Gone. Freddy Freeman halfway to the cycle and perhaps he has found the slug stroke. back-to-back games with a home run. Great job getting barrel to this one and backing it up. Blasted. No doubt about it. Two and two. Carpenter high in the air right field way. That is a welcome sight for this offense. Plus 700 seemed high. There’s that. And talk about high. It’s all about patterns and a high fast ball is the pattern. And Carrie Carpenter can get up there and get after that high fast ball. And he got up after that one in the air to deep center. Mullins’s back at the wall. Jumps and it’s gone. Guerrero has hit it out to center field and the Blue Jays have quickly come back to tie it. We saw a couple swings in Detroit that started to look like the A swing from Vlatty Guerrero Jr. and he just totally leans on this fast. He’s on time. The direction is perfect. Number 15 on the season as he continues to swing the bat well out of the All-Star break. Turner to center. Adams back at the wall. It’s good. Cubs win. What a moment for Justin Turner. First pitch he sees, he delivers the gamewinner. It started with a Sunday funday on the north side and it ends with a walk-off winner at Wrigley. Sing it. Oh, that is drilled deep left field by Contraras. It is gone. William Contrarus has rediscovered his home run pop and the Brewers have put up 11 here in DC. A four hit night for Contrarus. It was so loud off the bat. 104. Little change up for Lotus and it just goes screaming out of the capital.

When all the dust has settled, The Los Angeles Dodgers will once again be World Series Champions in 2025 !!
Second
Letβs go Cubbies β€
My Brewers will shock the world!
Shocked Detroit is still Top 4 with how they have been losing games lately.
There are too many AI-generated 'baseball review' channels. I <3 the official MLB. Does anyone still miss the OLD, and I mean OLD! weekly TV show 'This Week in Baseball', hosted by Mel Allen? My apologies if this comment is misplaced.
I truly never thought I'd live to see this day. Go Crew!
I donβt respect how the Power rankings are presented. Bad team should have lowlights showing why they are bad and Top team showing why they are good.
Orioles represented by The Braves
Someone needs to slow down the Brewers seriously theyβre possessed by demon magic
Number 30 and 1 is pretty obvious
GO CUBS GO! π»
Brewers for the first championship
γ‘γγεΊεγι γγ¦γγ
Jays top 3? Wow Iβll take it.
Iβll take 19th from the marlins better then last
After that stunning comeback, the Rockies have moved up from number 30 to a stronger number 30.
Go M's π±π±π±
Finally the Crew get the respect they deserve.
As a Cubs fan.. i dunno if i like them at #2.. maybe #3 or #4.. brewers #1..Jays #2… Cubs#3? I dunno.. top 5 seems right
No respect for the Red Sox putting them at 11. They are 9-6 since the break, having played the Cubs, Phillies, Dodgers, Twins (before the great sell off), and Astros. If it weren't for an implosion in Philly and another implosion/storm in Minnesota, they could very well be 11-4 during that stretch. And I don't think we need to remind anyone that they were 10-0 before the break?
Remember when the brewers lost the first 3 of the season to the yankees and they allowed 20 runs
Cubs offense has been anemic. They barely beat a AAA Orioles team
3:20 wrong clip?
GO JAYS
