And if you have, if you’re new to our channel, welcome. Let’s start making you some money with this matchup between the Houston Astros and the Miami Marlins. You got the Miami Marlin sending out Cal Quantrol for the start in this one. No starter confirmed for the Houston Astros at the time this video is being recorded. Now, it’ll be interesting to see the route the Astros go here. Um, but this is still an Astros lineup that had some issues going into Monday’s series opener. Now, at the time this video is being recorded, they were able to sort of break through those issues as, you know, they they jumped on Sandy Alcantra for a five spot in the middle innings and were able to take an early lead. We’ll have to see if they can hold on to that lead. But now you face Cal Quantrol. And while I never thought I’d say that maybe Calantrol could be a step up from Sandy Alcantra, I’ve said it before, every time I seem to give Al Contra the benefit of the doubt is when he decides that he’s going to just absolutely come out and poop the bed. And you know the thing about Quantrol is that I came into this season thinking that there was a possibility that he could be sort of the same kind of pitcher, but he has been far and away the most profitable pitcher in baseball this season. If you bet a h 100red bucks on the Marlins in all of Calantrol starts, you’re up $1,246. This guy has just been a winning machine for the Marlins. And now, excuse me, you face a Houston lineup that in the last two weeks against right-handed pitching is bang average in baseball against right-handed pitching. Their team OPS numbers are decent. The isolated power numbers are not terrible, but they’re still, you know, or sorry, the the team OPS numbers aren’t terrible, but the isolated power numbers are bottom five in baseball. So, I think that this could be a good spot for Quantrol to keep his mojo going here. On the other side, you got the Marlins. You know, like I said, I don’t know who they’re going with here in terms of uh the Astros are going with here in in terms of starting pitching, but this has been a Marlins lineup that, you know, since the All-Star break has been one of the best teams in baseball in terms of their win loss record, and they’ve been able to crank out some wins. They’ve been able to, you know, put bat to ball. They entering um entering Monday’s action, they were tied with the Brewers for the best record post all-star break at 11 and four. For me, this is still a Marlins lineup that is right there in terms of getting themselves hopefully back into the wild card race. And if not, it’s at least a sign that I think the Marlins are headed in the right direction with this young core that they have going forward. I just think that Calantrol, you know, when you when you look at the profit and sort of the results on paper and what they’ve been, Quantrols deserve the respect of, you know, getting the benefit of the doubt in a spot like this. The Marlins are also the most profitable team in baseball, even if they were to drop Monday’s opener. So, for me, I’m going to roll with the Marlins here at a coin flip price. The bullpens are pretty much even over the last couple of weeks, too. So, give me the Marlins here on the money line, and that’s going to be my free pick.
