kind of a little back and forth about him saying you’re not the short guy. Just your thoughts in general about that and you’re used to short situations. Um you know T man every time he up here ain’t no telling what what he going to say what coming out his mouth man. I think um but you know I feel like you know we got a good relationship that well where you know we tr each other like that you know um this is like me saying like you know he not our jump by receiver and always going to phase you know what I’m saying it’s the same stuff but uh but that’s that is something that we got to work on you know short situations and I feel like this year we going to be better than it was last year. What have you seen from the offensive line so far? I know it’s early tackling to the ground but how is that first unit performing? Um, they performing great, man. Like you said, um, they’re bowing as you see them. Like, like I said, if you see one, you see the other. And, um, like I said, this since I’ve been here, man, um, this this group, you can see they mature. And, I mean, I’ve got a lot of explosive runs in and camp. So, I mean, I feel great about them. Tell us about your abilities as a third bag. Um, I mean, I feel like I’m every back. Like I said, I could be in first, second, third, fourth. Um, I could do a lot. Um, just as far as like running the ball, you know, I also can, you know, catch the ball. So, like I said, um, I think I was like, I think I had like 70 some receptions and, you know, I I I feel like I’m the receiver at this point, but um, you know, man, um, it’s it’s it’s great to be out there throwing every down. So, what have you seen from uh, Alexander Madison? We we see him showing some quick feet and making a lot of 8, 10, 12 yard runs. No, man. Like you said, man, he’s a great running back. Um, for his size, man, he actually do move. Like I said, he had great feet. He had great vision. And for somebody’s, you know, to be that big, you know, he he moved quite quite great. You’ve always said that you feel confident. How have you done this camp in that regard? How do you feel about your ability forward? Um, I still feel great. Um, like I said, man, they’ve been working very, very hard and, you know, they’ve been making my job easy. What I got to do is, you know, make if I got to make somebody miss, I feel like that’s my job as a running back. And I mean, if I’m making somebody miss five to six yards down the field, then I’m okay with that. Um, it means a lot, man. I tell them like if you can cover me in practice, man, I feel like you go out there in the game, it’s going to be easy. Like I feel like um them going against us and we going against them oneonone supposed to like pass for us and and when we do routes and I feel like us working us working against each other it’s just going to make Sundays easy. You always seem to handle it well but a lot of outside people are always concerned about your size handling all the touches that you receive. Uh what can you say about how you handle that work your size? Um man I just it just the work that you put in man that uh you put in like in this heat I feel like in the game that be easy. I feel like I’m more tired at practice than I am in the game. So that’s how I mean it don’t I don’t be as tired cuz I I put all the work in like I try to work twice as hard at practice. So in the game it don’t it feel easy with that first preseason game making it way up. We’re not expecting to see a whole lot of snaps for you but for those young guys like to get those first live snaps. What does it mean for you when you go back? Um it’s great man. Like I I tell them all the time, you know, um it’s going to be fun cuz you know we all going to be on the sideline, you know, watching cheering for you. And I mean, if you do have a bad play, you know, just move on to the next one. Like you got we got a lot of football. And so, man, it’s I told him it’s going to be exciting. Like I said, you going to be nervous cuz I was nervous. I don’t know if you get nervous. I get nervous still right now before every before like a play. I feel like I got to get tackled then I’m, you know, I’m ready to go. So, I tell him, man, it’s okay to be nervous and just go out there and play football. So, two more questions. the game practices. Um, I feel like it’s exciting, man, just to go against somebody new. Um, we’ve been going against each other for a very long time. And I mean, I feel like as a team, man, we can’t wait to go to Chicago just, you know, practice against somebody new and, you know, see how we look against somebody else. Um, I mean, I just feel like just the one that we create, you know, outside the football field. Um we we hang with each other outside of football and you know you know we talk a lot about the know situation and and I just feel like you know just cuz we all compete you know we still you know know this a business and we know that like whoever whichever one’s in we know like okay like he know he doing he can go out there and make plays for the team. How does that no I feel like you know every know running back that come every new run back come in we s with the same and just like the ones we left I feel like you know we all still talk to each other. So I just feel like man whoever in your room man disembra don’t make them feel like outside.
