I watched the Rockies win a baseball game in person. If they can do it, so can the Royals!
I think the reason this recent few years of the Royals is so infuriating, because what defined the ’14-’15 Royals and our stadium has been good outfield play. This year has been *painful.* If you arn’t going to hit well at least be + on defense. That’s why I won’t say shit about Isbel. Dude is a perfect 9 hole batter and plays above average CF. The corners…well. We’ll get there eventually. (Lots of communication and learning to be had with the new guys so I’m not shitting on them *too* much, but this whole year has been marked by it.)
I know it’s not just OF, but man that’s been driving me crazy this year.
Don’t get me wrong though, I still think we can make the playoffs and when you’re in, who knows what happens. But I’d just like for them to stop fucking up the basic things.
