And if you have, if you’re new to our channel, welcome. Let’s start making you some money with this match up between the Houston Astros and the Miami Marlins. For the Miami Marlins, it’s Jansen Junk listed as the starter in this one. While the Houston Astros will send out Spencer Aragetti for the nod in this one. Arrogetti making his return to the Astros rotation. Have not seen him since April. And so he’s only got nine and two/3s innings pitched at the major league level this season. Um and last time we saw Eric Getty on the road, it was his lone road start of the season against Minnesota. five runs allowed, three hits, three walks, a home run over three and two/3s in a loss. And we’ve seen that Eric Getty does have, you know, glimpses of where he can be a top pro or live up to the the billing of the top prospect from when he came up in the Astros system and, you know, got to the major league level for the Astros. The problem is right now you’re going up against a Miami Marlins lineup that’s been fairly solid against right-handed pitching since the All-Star break. It’s been a big reason why this uh this team has one of the more profitable records and has been one of the best teams in baseball since the All-Star break. Now, they did hit a speed bump in the opener. We’ll have to see how Tuesday’s matchup goes, but for me, the Miami Marlins are still a solid lineup. The team OPS numbers are solid. The batting average could be better, but the the isolated power numbers are great. And I just don’t know what we’re going to see from Spencer Aragetti in this return to the lineup. I do worry that maybe there could if you’re looking to back Eric Getty that there could be a bit of an innings or a pitch restriction as he works his way back from the injury. Um I haven’t seen anything to suggest that but again you know could potentially be something to keep an eye out for. Um but on the other side you got Jansen Junk who across his last two starts at home have really struggled against the Yankees and the Royals since the All-Star break. 12 runs allowed, 10 earned on 12 hits, only five strikeouts, 10 innings of work, and you’re going against an Astros lineup that, yes, has played their better baseball at home this season, but they have a low strikeout rate at 17%. A 256 batting average. Again, the team OPS numbers could be better. They’re just outside the bottom five, as could the isolated power numbers, which are third worst in baseball, which tells me a lot of small balls being played for the Astros. But this is an Astros team that picked up some key pieces at the deadline. Sanchez, Carlos Koreah. Um, and I think they could get to Jansen Junk for a few runs here. I think the total of eight is just too low in this game for two teams that, you know, have potential, especially against the opposing pitcher, to really put some runs on the board. Two teams with bullpen eras of four plus since uh in the last two weeks as well. So, I’m going to roll with the over between the Marlins and the Astros, and that’s going to be my free pick.
