If you haven’t already hit that subscribe button by now, though, please do so. if you have, if you’re new to our channel, let’s start making you some money with this matchup between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the San Francisco Giants. It is a lefty lefty matchup in this one as you got Andrew Heene listed as the starter for the Pirates and Robbie Ray listed as the starter for the Giants. And uh you know, Robbie Ray still a money machine this season to where he has been pitching extremely well. You know, the Giants have been able to win a lot of his starts. If you look at the Giants team record in Robbie Ray starts the season, they have won 16 of his 23 starts and he’s been outstanding. But the win over the New York Mets last time out actually snapped a three-game team losing streak with Robbie Ray on the bump. And uh couple of those weren’t Robbie Ray’s fault. The thing is though, the San Francisco Giants, there’s a reason this team has really been faltering since the All-Star break and just overall because of a lack of offense. I mean, they have not been playing well. You know, they have not been, you know, consistent with their offense. If you look at the last two weeks against left-handed pitching, this is a a Giants team that’s bottom 10 in baseball and batting average. The team OPS numbers are bottom 10. The isolated power numbers are almost bottom five. So, I think that they could have some issues here against Andrew Heene, who has pitched well at PNC Park this season. Like the Pirates, he’s playing his best baseball at home this season. The last time we saw him at home, it was five innings of two hit shutout ball against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The outings on the road have been slightly inconsistent. But I still think that uh, you know, I still think that Heene could have a solid enough start here, like I said, at home where his RA is half of what it is on the road. You know, at home this season, a 3.25 RA and a 4-3 record across 10 starts. while the uh while the road play for Andrew Heene a 6.55 erra. So I think that he could have you know like I said a good start at home in this one. On the other side, you’ve got, like I said, Robbie Ray, who’s, like I said, pitched well regardless. But for me, what it boils down to is the fact that I’m not ready to, even with Robbie Ray, I’m not ready to lay this kind of price with the San Francisco Giants given the struggles that this this Giants team has had out of the All-Star break to where they still entering Tuesday’s action own. The Pirates, on the other hand, tied for one of the best. I think the value here is on the Pirates in the plus money. So, I’m going to take Pittsburgh here and that’s going to be my free pick.
