I’ll get them to stream live one day, but they do put their clips up, him and Salana and the whole crew there. And we got game day uncensored coming your way this Sunday at 11 a.m. before the 1:00 preseason kickoff. So, we’re looking forward to that as well as we get you set for all the action. The Miami Dolphins today had their last practice before venturing out to the Windy City to Chidtown to take on the Chicago Bears. Going to have some joint practices. Uh got some injury news today in the forefront of Mike McDaniel who I believe will address the media on Friday. Um but uh certainly a uh a a noticeable absence yesterday or today, excuse me, was Tyreek Hill. Tyreek Hill was missing. He had an injury apparently. Um, which never great when you uh when you hear that you know your number one player with an undisclosed injury even though he dropped down to what did he dropped down to 47? Number one to 47. A big drop off. It was crazy man. We were going over the overunders today on the radio show and I was stunned to see that Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Wadd are both uh under a thousand yards in the Vegas odds. And I can only deduce that that is a bet against Tua his health, not a uh not a bet that they think both those receivers have fallen off like that. And while neither crossed the thousand yards last year, I mean, they they well did it the years beforehand. So, I mean, Jaylen Waddles basically had a thousand years yards every other year. I I I I just found that quite surprising. I think his was 925 and a half and Tyreek’s was 975 and a half, I think, were the numbers. So, uh, yeah, those are those are surprising to me. But getting the news that, you know, he’s dealing with anything. You know, it’s been a bit of a squirly camp for Tyreek, I haven’t really fallen into the trap of uh, a lot of the fodder that’s been out there because I don’t think a lot of it matters, you know, and the good or the bad. I I really just think I need the guy to show up and be Tyreek Hill. Can I just get that? Can I get just a little bit of the the level that he gave the first two years of the Dolphins I think is fine. Uh I I’m only concerned about Tyreek Hill is if this gets off to a rough start. If the Dolphins get off to, you know, a one in three, one in four, two and four start and they need to fight their way out of this thing. I’m, you know, you know that the the coach is going to be dealing with a ton of pressure and I don’t know if that’s an environment for Tyreek Hill and there’s been some pretty gnarly injuries the Dolphins have had to deal with. We already know that the Austin Jackson thing is a thing going into this. Uh, today you found out that Andrew Meyer is going to be out for weeks. As much as I am not a fan, Liam Iikenberg we know is out. So, there’s some dings on the depth of the offensive line. um which is a little bit of a concern going into this. We already had the the the butchering of the secondary and where that was at with losing Kar Coo and Arty Burns and you know the Darren Waller thing. I really don’t know what to make of. Mike McDaniel said today I if you follow the breadcrumbs it felt like they’re looking to debut him in a non-jint practice. So maybe that happens the first one after the preseason game next week. But mind you, the Dolphins have a pretty quick week next week because they play Sunday and I believe they play again on Saturday. So with that being the case with the Dolphins having such a quick turnaround, you know, I don’t know. I So is the next week the week that they’re going to do it, is it going to be the week after that? Like it kind of felt like he said that they were in a tricky spot with Darren Waller and Yeah. I mean, I don’t it’s that guess what it’s you know what I think and this is the thing is like you bring in this guy uh he’s got a good relationship with Frank Smith. Beautiful. All right. Uh hope that he can make the comeback but it’s like you wouldn’t have been more prudent to bring him back and work him in slow like work him along slowly. uh were you that hardressed for tight ends and to try and figure out if it doesn’t maybe the whole point of it is that they’re so hardressed if because they traded Janu that they need to figure out somebody if the Darren Waller thing doesn’t work out. But it’s interesting that they’re like yeah we’re in a tricky situation. It’s like yeah but wouldn’t it have been less tricky if he was out there even in the nod padded days to figure it out a little bit? I I don’t know. People have made the Odell Beckham comparison. I I understand why that seems fair. I mean, Odell Beckham looked at some points like he couldn’t run. Some of the videos that you saw were where he was uh really struggling to move. I don’t know if that’s the case with Darren Waller, but um it just, you know, you wouldn’t put it past them to get put in this position, right? The depth chart did come out though and he was listed as the starter. So, there is that. He’s the starter. Second team tight end is Julian Hill, my guy. anytime touchdown. Uh Frell Brown, then Tanner Connor, then Hayden Ruchcci. Um so I guess that technically makes Julian Hill the starter, which I know uh is not great for my Hard Rock account and I know is not great for the fans who get tired of him putting rear naked chokes on everybody and getting penalties, but I still believe in you, Julian. I’m still betting on you, dude. So you know, you got me. You got me. If even if this cost me 170 through the season, I just got the feeling this is going to be the year it pays off. It’s not going to be the year it pays off, does it? It’s not. And uh you know, I don’t know. But the but the Austin Jackson thing I I think to me is the most concerning because look, even with Tyreek Hill being out um and look, the one thing you can give him credit for before walking off the field is, yeah, he played through injury last year, played through a terrible situation on opening day. um is that yeah he can he he has been able to to to gut some things out. The Dolphins have not had to go. They know extended time without Tua. They know extended time without Toronto. They don’t really know extended time without Tyreek. So, you’re hopeful it’s nothing too too major that he’s going to be dealing with because if it is, well, then maybe we get another Mike McDaniel marching to death quote, which man, I saw this on Instagram. I don’t know if you guys saw this because yesterday, I’m sure you guys saw the the quote, right? Where he’s saying uh he was talking to the reporters and he was saying it was a great morning. you know, we all saw the clip and they’re like, “Why?” And he says, “Cuz we’re we’re another day closer to death.” And this was said a long time ago, but for whatever reason, things on Twitter sometimes they they take a little bit to become viral. Uh not like, you know, sometimes it annoys me. Like an old podcast clip will annoy me. It’s like um I’ll see a podcast be like, “Could you imag?” I thought it was and it was like about the heat and it was like yeah he said he it was about Jimmy Butler. I remember exactly what it was. One of those clips, one of those uh aggregating things they put a Jeff Teague clip out there that Jimmy Butler was going to mess up guaranteed money. I was like a man that’s kind of an interesting thing to say. I hadn’t seen it but I was like he said that just out of the blue. He said that. No, he said it back in February when all this was going down. I’m like all right. But this is like how it’s it’s it’s you’ve kind of like Twitter’s become a bit of a content recycling ground. It’s not really where things break anymore. So, this Mike McDaniel thing about death comes comes and uh becomes a thing again. And so, everybody starts posting it. You get the Bleacher Report graphics and Bleacher Report put this one of Mike McDaniel and he’s got like the crazy eyes and and it just goes in giant letters. great morning in in white font, but then in red goes, we’re another day closer to death. But that wasn’t even the thing that caught my attention on this because that had already been a day old. The thing that caught my attention was once again former Miami Dolphins running back Reggie Bush chiming in and he just puts under the comments and puts great hire. And you could tell the sarcasm in his tone because this is not the first time Reggie Bush has weighed in on Mike McDaniel. He is not a fan of Mike McDaniel, which I don’t know why. I don’t know if their paths have crossed in the past in another location. I don’t I I I don’t I I but I remember this being a thing last year after the Miami Dolphins got their ass kicked and Mike McDaniel um Mike McDaniel the Dolphins got their butts kicked on Thanksgiving Day and he Reggie Bush had come out on Instagram and he blasted Mike McDaniel and he had said this was a quote it was ESPN NFL page And the Dolphins, it it puts Stephen A. Smith and it said, “The Dolphins are now 0 and2 in the last 12 games in four degree weather. It’s over for them this season.” And the quote was Stephen A. Smith, right? And Reggie Bush had come out that day and was like, “Fire the coach. He should have never had the opportunity. He sucks.” And I was like, I remember at the time thinking to myself, “What? That’s really Reggie Bush hates his ass. He is not a fan of Mike McDaniel. And I’m like, sheesh. But you can tell he is still, it appears Reggie Bush is still see I don’t know if Reggie Bush considers himself a doll fan and he is just bothered by the man. I don’t know if Reggie Bush is just, you know, doesn’t like his style. I don’t know if Reggie Bush has heard other things. But Reggie Bush has come out yet again with a Mike McDaniel take being like, “Great hire. Thanks. This is the guy.” He’s so over Mike McDaniel and he’s so sick of his ass is just like gh enough of him already. You could just you could and maybe in the other ways uh you know if you didn’t have that backtory maybe you wouldn’t know. book. I think Dolph fans are now like realizing Reggie Bush really seems to hate Mike McDaniel. Like just the way he looks, the way he talks, the way he acts. Reggie Bush is just and I could just see right now like it’s funny because I feel like if if Mike McDaniel had Reggie Bush, I feel like he’d be like all all these ways and like he talking to Reggie. I could just see Reggie Bush like rolling his eyes being sick of Mike McDaniel’s ass. So, I don’t know. I’m not going to double down. Look, I will give Mike McDaniel this. He made for a great hard knocks. I’m not going to double down. You guys can go check out my rant on uh the QAM YouTube page because I gave a I gave the work to to to the Bills today because that horse crap that I watched last night on HBO was the worst Hard Knocks of all time. But I was just thinking I was like, man, Reggie Bush, dude. Like because Reggie Bush kind of was like you would look at Reggie Bush and I feel like the I feel now you know Reggie Bush is incred maybe the greatest I’m sorry not maybe the greatest one of the most electric Got a little excited one of the most electric college football players you ever seen. All right not one of the best but one of the most electric right won the Heisman had it stolen from him. Um then when he went to the Saints, everybody was like, you know, excited to see what do kind of like hit that full fruition. And then he comes to the Dolphins and like he wanted to be a running back and had some of his most successful statistical seasons. Um I So like I feel like I look at him like I feel like Mike McDaniel would dig coaching a Reggie Bush. And I just I find it hilarious that Reggie Bush just seems to be disgusted by the look of him. He’s just like Mike McDaniel tired of his ass. But I don’t know why I there has to be some something here. Has to be that is burned inside Reggie Bush because he says he never should have been hired. Never should have had the opportunity. He sucks. Said that last year and now he’s just still like just can’t believe great great hire. Cannot wait for this guy not to be the coach of the Dolphins. Wild.

  1. Last yr especially when Tua was hurt was some of the worst coaching I've seen in my lifetime, any sport. It's getting hard to defend the coach when he's still making the same mistakes he was making in yr 1. I'm over him. I'm open to him proving me wrong this yr, but I won't hold my breath. He'll prob get fired then hired again somewhere else and become a great coach. But with the Dolphins so far…not good.

  2. Tobin, i would think you'd have enough clout to reach out to Reggies team and set up a podcast interview… hit up Bush and get the 1-on-1 scoop, your fans are waiting🫣

  3. Honestly, I'm not a fan of both of them. R Bush is/was overrated (after his Saints stint) and McDaniel is a "player's coach" and a poser. You can just tell he acts the way he acts to fit in with the players.

  4. I always find people like this odd. Like there’s plenty of things you can critique McDaniel on like his clock management and play calling but dudes who just straight up have a vitriol hatred for a guy for seemingly no logical reason whatsoever just makes themselves look silly.

  5. Who gives two fucks what NFL bust Reggie Bush thinks? He sucked in the NFL. He’s too dumb to know that McDaniels father is black. It’s a race thing. He can go rub dickheads with Matt Leinart while they count all their money they stole from the NFL.

  6. Don't Understand… I think most of these responses are from actual Dolphins fans – so I'll say that 1) Tua is the best QB we've had since Marino… sucks that he has concussion issues, but even with those, he's giving us a MUCH better record than anything else we've had for a long time. 2) McDaniel is authentic and while I get annoyed about time-management and some play-calls that the personnel had little chance to execute – HE'S WAY BETTER than what we've had for the last 2 decades… just the numbers tell us that – but we were EXCITING for his first two years. When was the last time that was the case for us???? I hope they give him at least a few more years to see if he can put together a consistent offense – growing/learning – he's a VERY smart guy and I really want to give him time as long as we're seeing year-to-year progress. The mistake last year was the O-Line… HUGE mistake that bit us hard – some mistakes have little impact, you're screwed when your mistake makes a big difference… they have done as much in a year as I could have hoped for and next year's O-Line should be MUCH better with off-season additions.

Some people really think that Tyreek makes the offense go – McD and Tua is what makes it go. If they improve the O-Line next year and Tua has a bit more time, he will make good receivers great because of his strengths (accuracy, timing, quick-release).

  7. Tobin, I found that Reggie Bush and Mike Mcdaniel might have crossed paths in San Francisco. Bush was there in 2015 and Mcdaniel was there 2015-2017. Perhaps Bush a glimpse of his idiocy there. Lol

  8. Mcdaniel is one of the worst coaches. He doesnt command the locker room, countless team captains wanted to jump ship of how bad Mcdaniels is at coaching. You would think that if a team would have a great coach no captains would leave but recruit but in miami its the other way around. Players criticizing of how dysfunctional is this organization is, countless players leave or just stay for money not for cutlure, coaching and winning, cant wait to see Mcdaniel and grier fired. Not to mention grier loves signing and drafting injury prone players.
