It looks like we are live and a few minutes away from first pitch. Hi, I am Dr. Delay and we’ve got some more Pirates baseball for you as the Pirates take on the Rockies looking to avoid the sweep. It’s been a rough series for the Pirates. Of course, we all we all we were all there for that epic game uh Friday night where the Pirates had a 9- nothing lead in the first inning and of course proceeded to lose that game uh 17-6. Of course, they were up 16 to 12 even though they were allowing all the runs in the world to still looked pretty good in the ninth inning. Of course, it wasn’t ending in a W. Uh for sure uh for the Rockies though. Um very unfortunate for the Pirates. Of course, again, they were up four nothing yesterday and then they lost even with Paul Skill. I understand that he uh also ran into some trouble. Uh I believe in the fifth or sixth inning. I don’t recall. I was unable to call that game. But uh yeah, again, the Rockies going for the sweep. Can the Pirates salvage at least a game from these lowly Rockies? Pirates proving that the Rockies are the greatest 30 and 80 team of all time. Um very they’re they’re doing a good job of that. Uh for the Rockies today, it’s going to be Bradley Bllock on the on the mound, the young right-hander from Conjurs, Georgia. He’s one and two on the season, an erra of a seven. So, you’d think that this is a guy again that they could hit off of, but it doesn’t really matter if they do get the hits because um well, of course, the Pirates have just uh they have struggled as of late. Uh again, a 7.0 uh 7.0 09 RA whip of a 1.64. Just not good stuff for Bradley. But of course, again, the Pirates are a lineup to, you know, take advantage, get your confidence up. Uh the Rockies starting lineup’s going to be Freeman. He’s dhing Moniac, Mickey Monia, Goodman at catcher, Beck, um left fielder, Tovar at short, Burnable, I can’t remember if it was Burnable, Bernable um at first. We’ll go with that. Estrada at second, Fernandez in right, Arcia at third. Sweep City, this guy Draven uh abandoned the Pirates yesterday after the loss. How’s it going, Thomas? I I can’t remember if it was Thomas or Thomas. Either way, thank you for stopping by. Uh Pirates yesterday, yeah, again, Philip, it’s been a rough going for the Pirates. Uh starting lineup for the Pirates going to be Spencer Horwitz. Uh Brian Reynolds, DH Horvitz is playing first by the way. Nick Gonzalez at second, Cruz at center. Uh Tommy Famon left, Leo Pguero, I understand he had a good day yesterday. Didn’t matter though in the win column. Jack Sinsky in right. Davis catching today and Triolo is your third baseman. Phillies. Oh, hey Seth. The Mets are losing. Yeah, they are down to the Giants who of course again the Pirates swept before coming into the series was looking pretty good. And well, it doesn’t matter because we’re about to get swept probably by the Rockies. And we do play the Giants actually uh very soon and they’re going to be pretty upset that they had just been um swept of course by the Pirates and they’re looking to take the series against the Mets. Mitch Keller starting of course for the Pirates. 4-10 record. Don’t look at the record. He has pitched pretty good. 3.69 RA whip of a 1.20 200 uh on the season. Last seven starts though, he’s been really good. Three and one record, 2.79 erra. He has been much better. Again, a lot of talk that he might get traded. Well, it might happen next year because that lockout is coming. And you know, good old Mr. Bob Nutting is going to want to cut all the payroll in the world. So, that should make us Pirates fans, you know, all feel good. Of course, if you’re not a Pirates fan, well, it doesn’t matter to you. Uh but again, um Bllelock will be pitching. Pardon me, my voice. Uh Bradley P uh Bradley Blank Bllelock will be the starting pitcher for the Rockies. We’re about a minute and a half away from the Pirates Rockies game starting. Of course, they have been one of the better teams, believe it or not, in baseball. Despite what had happened at the trade deadline, there were still, hey, you know, they’re playing well. Here’s the 10. That’s going to be low for ball two. The trade deadline kind of killed it for us Pirates fans. And then, of course, the the nine nothing cushion and then the 1617 loss really just really killed it for the season. Uh 20 count play lock looking back at second. I hate this chair. He delivers. Tommy Fam doing a great job as of late. Ever since the contacts or lasacic surgery, he has been literally amazing. As Leo Pguero is going to be coming to the plate, he’s batting 310, OPS of 114, four homers, seven RBI’s. That one is upstairs ball one 3. Yes. Yes. No. The Pirates up streaming the Giants. I am going to do two of them. That is the goal to do Monday and indeed Wednesday. Here’s the 1. That’s going to be upstairs ball, too. Hard to get excited for scoring first. I know. That’s why I’m like, you know, like we scored, but it’s like, well, again, we we they spotted us nine runs earlier. That’s going to be a 200. That’s going to be hit to center coming in as the center fielder. And he makes the catch for route number three. But we’ve kind of been here before where we’re up three nothing over the Rockies as we head to the bottom of the first. Three nothing Pirates. Fantastic. Yes, he has been fantastic. But again, I’ll be doing as soon as the Pirates Reds game is over Thursday night, I’ll be heading over to Seattle where Las Vegas and Seattle will go play their first preseason game. Friday, the goal is to do the Cleveland Browns. I know that’s probably blasphemous to Pittsburgh fans, but I’m kind of curious to see how those rookie quarterbacks will do for Cleveland.
