What’s going on, guys? This is Costy with Pic Dogs. I’m here with Jay Yang for another Yang Angle. Jay, welcome back. Hey, Costi, how are you? Uh, so these days we’re winning and let’s continue to win, including the Yang Angle. Yeah, guys, at the end of the day, this is something that we do for you guys to understand the schematics of what Jay does and give you the the background of what it takes on every single pick. This is not just us selecting a team based on an emotion. There’s an actual yangle behind every single pick that Jay gives, even the free prediction that we give you guys here on this video series. The game that Jay wanted to break down is the Athletics and the Nationals. Right now, listed pitchers. Again, we’re doing this video the day before. Lopez versus Parker. The Athletics are a 125 road favorite and the overunder is nine. So why don’t you give everybody the prediction of who you like and the angle behind it? Yes. So Oakland versus Washington, Lopez versus Parker. So I think we should trust Oakland offense offense these days. Uh Lopez is an opener with limited innings and the Oakland bullpen has been shaky in bulk roles after the trade, especially when forced into longer duty early. expect Washington to string together bases and create early run scoring opportunities. So Mitchell Parker has been leaking contact lately. He’s allowed four plus runs uh in three of his last four outings and the Oakland offense has shown some explosiveness lately. I believe Parker will likely struggle versus this uptrending offense. So I’m taking over nine runs here now. I mean, it just this has been a common theme in baseball this year with this athletics. The Athletics are a much better team on the road than they have been at home. So, why is there a reason why you trust them more on the road or in general right now against these Nationals to score a lot of runs? Yeah, it’s I I studied Oakland why we should should trust Oakland offense for now. Uh I I think they have uh you know the improved lefty split. So, Oakland has smashed left-handed pitching lately. They ranked top 10 in MLB OPS versus left-handed pitchers over the uh past two weeks. Key offensive players. So, all the the Oakland key players have been swinging hot lately, showing real power, cutting down strikeouts, and consistently finding barrels. So, elevated hard contact. So over the last seven to 10 days, the Oakland ranked top five in MLB hard heart hit percentage and bearer hit percentage percentage. Uh low strikeout rate rates. So Oakland has had one of the lowest K rates in MLB over the past week. Uh and lastly, they’re facing Parker. Richard Parker has been fading. He’s allowing more base runners. 1.35 with last four starts. His home runs per nine innings has climbed up. So, you know, the there there are reasons why we’re picking over. I I believe Oakland offense is the key. And I hope this helps you out. Yeah, guys. Again, it’s it’s this is the prediction that we’re giving you on this video.
