Let’s start making some money with this matchup between the Atlanta Braves and the Miami Marlins. For the Miami Marlins, it’s Yuri Perez listed as the starter in this one. No starter confirmed for the Atlanta Braves at the time this video is being recorded. I have seen Carlos Carrasco listed in a couple of places such as ESPN. We’ll have to see if that does end up being the case for the uh the Atlanta Braves here. But like I said, we do know is that it is Yuri Perez that is tabbed to go for the fish here. And you know, Perez, I would go so far as to say that he has been the the staff ace of this Miami Marlins rotation this season. You could talk about how it was Sandy Alcantra and you know how Cal Quantro has been the most profitable team or excuse me the most profitable pitcher in baseball this season. But for me, Yuri Perez this season still a 2.70 erra through his um through his 10 starts this season. But since the beginning of July he’s had six starts, a 1.06 06 ERA 37 strikeouts to eight walks. Only one home run allowed. You know, he’s had he’s had three road starts in there, including, you know, some solid team. You know, he pitched well at great American threw seven shut out innings at Baltimore. Went toe-to-toe with the red hot Milwaukee Brewers team and, you know, barely got edged out in that game. And he’s pitching, like I said, extremely well right now. And now you go on the road to take on a Braves lineup that’s been hot and cold, you know, all season, but especially in the last two weeks against right-handed pitching. This is a team that’s only hitting 219. That’s just outside the bottom five in baseball in terms of batting average. The team OPS numbers are bottom five. The isolated power numbers are just outside the bottom five as well. So for me, I just have little faith in this Atlanta Braves lineup against a pitcher like Yuri Perez. And the Marlins bullpen has still been, you know, fairly solid as well over that over that twoe time frame. Now granted, it it hasn’t been as sharp as it was when this team was, you know, sort of redot and getting themselves back to 500, but it’s still a bullpen RA that’s that’s barely above four, that’s still above league average. And you’re taking on a Braves lineup that is starting Carlos Carrasco, who for me is not a viable option as starter at the major league level. And the fact is that the the Braves bullpen in the last two weeks has been more susceptible than Miami with a 6.06 erra as a relief unit. So for me here, I got to roll with the Miami Marlins in this one. I I’m not not automatically just blindly taking Miami and they haven’t necessarily been the best team as a favorite this year, but this is still a Marlins lineup that we’re going to be able to find spots with and they’re not going to lose every game as a favorite as you know, as far as I’m concerned. The Marlins with Yuri Perez just have too much of of an edge here to ignore. So, I’m going to roll with the Marlins in this one and that’s going to be my free pick.
