We Flew to Chicago to Go to a Blackhawks Game vs the Preds

behind me is the United Center home of the Chicago Blackhawks we have never been to a game here in Chicago before but tonight that changes I have heard incredible stories about what the atmosphere is like in this building what the Traditions are like in this building and tonight the national predators our favorite team we coming up here to play a game and we said we got to go check it out today we spent time touring around the city we checked out cloudgate or the bean we skated on the ribbon we went to Lincoln Park and we really fell in love with what a lot of this city has to offer but tonight we get to finally experience the reason we came up here to see what a Chicago Blackhawks game is like this is our sixth NHL arena in less than 40 days and so it’ll be awesome to get to see what the experience here is like we’re taking you along with us so let’s head inside and start the game day experience here in Chicago at the United Center we’re going to head in at the North Atrium it said it didn’t matter which gate we entered in so let’s head in here immediately walking in this is absolutely awesome you got the team store over there you got banners everywhere and you’ve got live music on the other side of this Atrium what a way to make an entrance this is really stunning we might have to go check out uh the team store mad house later on so I think that there’s this to the north Atrium I imagine they have one of these on either side I don’t know for a fact and if you have go into tunnels to get into the main Arena area so that’s what we’re doing now also haven’t eaten so we got to find food so we’ll do that just to viby food area that’s very cool we’re going to walk over to the seats first uh and we’ll scout out food and check out the concourses on the way we’re 113 tonight 113 we got these cups when we walked in that have our game on them which is very cool KY to Arenas is outside of The Concourse just have them kind of open up and give you a few more options uh and it looks like this does a pretty good job at that um throughout which I like Nashville versus Chicago I love it I love it we’re actually 114 that’s said 113 cuz I’m going do this but 114 all right into the seats and then we’ll continue our lap uh but we’re going to check them out first 114 row 13 yeah look at that oh this should be nice we have made it cool looking building it is that traditional like buil in the ’90s I bet I don’t know when this was built but it looks like the ones that were built in like the early to mid99s um that scoreboard looks great that like looks really nice sweet wow look at all the banners look at all the banners that is crazy and then of course you have all the Bulls banners as well feel like it’s worth zooming in on that one right there I know that all these guys are legends but a specific Legend hey M any thoughts on on things you walk in here it’s pretty red it’s pretty red uh so when we went to a Panthers game back in 2022 she made that comment about the Panthers Arena which is accurate if you go look at am Bank Arena very red she got roasted in the comments for that so spam the comments it’s very red or something like that I don’t know now that we’ve seen our seats we got to go find some food as predicted it was built in 1994 so how about that they also have a team store right here so that’ll probably be the one we end up in I collect a puck from every Arena we go to so we probably have to go in there and buy a puck later what we have found that we think is an interesting design is like it feels like the sides of the uh sides of the Arena are mirrored so like what is on one side is also on the other side that’s really great then you don’t have to circle the entire Arena to get something you want there’s some unique stuff on each side but that’s just worth noting interesting take I feel like this lower bowl was really easy to get around it’s like it was a quick walk and maybe that’s just cuz it’s a new one but I felt like it was easy did you feel that or did you feel like I don’t know yeah we definitely will head upstairs in a little bit check out the upper bowl and see what it’s like if you want to come sit in the upper bowl at a game here what what that seat is like so we we came to This Little Goat we went to the takaria got these nachos these were $18 but very sharable so excited about that at the United Center it looks like they have the airplane napkin also the souvenir soda is refillable here so we got it it’s only $3 more that’s nice three cups three cups a lot of cups cops all right let’s dig in all right andia’s going in give us a review all right we’ll see what I think you know you can you can only expect so much out of an arena nacho we’ll see if these live up to I think it’s a good flavor I Like It win good use of $18 andaro okay here’s a tip see how much of that is left we are are you’re full right like I don’t want to eat another vitam it cuz I’m stuck super heavy like the what kind of chips were those like kettle chips I don’t know they were not like kle they were like fried like heavily fried tortilla chips with that were sweet yeah so they’re like just sitting heavier yeah Millie just said this as I cut the camera off like the meat was really good but uh definitely one of those things where like we could share that so that’s essentially $9 a person which for arena isn’t bad and refillable Pepsi all right so we’re going to head upstairs and see what it’s like in the upper bowl real quick and then we’ll uh come back down to our seats Lexus likes to sponsor the club level in every Arena it’s crazy we’re not going to go to the club level right now but it looks really nice um we’re going to go upstairs for us at the top of the escalator here at this upper bowl you got the mad house on Madison all down this that’s very cool they all the upper balls seem like very similar at all these places more so than the lower bows it’s interesting you got an opening here where you can just kind of like see out to the Bowl Emilia also just pointed out that the updated signage looks really really good so I agree I agree with that it feels high end also for an arena that shares teams like you really feel like it’s a Blackhawks arena and I bet when the Bulls are playing here it feels like a Bulls game they’re both majority red yep yeah you don’t have to do a lot of heavy detail stuff that’s a great Point all right we’re going to head into like 327 and just see what it’s like see what it’s like let’s go all righty so let’s say you’re looking to sit in the first row of the upper bowl uh that’s a pretty good seat right there check that out it’s going to be a pretty good view of the hockey game although I feel like this feels higher than a lot of first rows of the upper bowl great view but it maybe I don’t know it’s interesting really cool looking Arena all the way around at the top yeah it’s weird so this is something that those like early to mid 9s Arenas have and I’m like why would they put their luxury boxes at the very top like it doesn’t make a ton of sense to me honestly um a lot ofy I mean every every section it’s weird kind of cool though I mean it really is oh look there are the Press boxes all right let’s head to the very top row and see what it’s like to sit in the worst seat at the United Center up the stairs we go here we go I’m not used to this at the top here on the end you have like a full walkway this is actually really cool but okay let’s let’s see what this top row is like keep going okay this honestly is not bad at all and I think that like where I said that the bottom row feels a little bit higher this feels like not as high as some top rows now one thing I’ll mention like that kind of is a little not a full blind spot but a little bit of one that’s interesting but honestly if you come sit top row and the end at a game here United Center I don’t think you’re going to be disappointed with your view that much wow look at all these Bulls championships and then the Blackhawks have a bunch as well just very cool legendary teams here in Chicago I should point out this is my 15th NH NHL arena I’ve been to but this is my first original six team I’ve gotten to go to one of their home games excited to see what like a historic hockey Town feels like all right at this time of day the easiest way to get downstairs and the only way to get downstairs is to take these stairs which this stairwell is massive hey every arena in the world needs to have Arena stairwells that are this big for the upper bowl to exit and now we head back downstairs I think we’re on the other side of the Arena from our seats we’ll head over there and get ready for some warmups we actually ate at town jodas today it was delicious the Bulls NBA championships Legends wome they’re doing so many like black Haw we are officially at the seats warm-ups are about to get rolling they’re doing so many little hype videos free warmups that but also it’s not trying too hard and I respect that [Music] it’s kimel’s rookie lab I know you Chicago be would don’t care this is a big deal for Nashville and we’re rolling a warmup Craig Smith Predators Legend got to love him I miss him actually my first time seeing Connor badar live he’s one of the big superstars in the league that I haven’t seen before so excited for that tonight this Arena also doesn’t have couple went to Vancouver last month they didn’t have cup holders for some reason this Arena also doesn’t have cup holders I don’t understand that what were they thinking I think that Chicago’s uniforms have to be some of the best in the NHL I mean look at those things absolutely gorgeous to look at beautiful lots of bog coming into this for the uh intro love it have you heard about what the anthem tradition is here in Chicago they cheer to the anthem and it’s Ruckus and like apparently it’s crazy loud so we during like the whole time so we’ll see if they if they still roll with that also I’ll say this I understand that we’re probably not going to get the full Chicago atmosphere because of where Chicago is in the standings where nationville is in the standings but it’ll be fun nonetheless uh we’ve gotten Oregon because we’re a classic original franchise I love it so we were joking earlier about Amilia saying that this is red but like I can’t express it is super red in here like it just feels uh like it feels like everything is Red 2 let’s go what welcome to the United chatter where everyone is welcome and where we all Stand United theight game features the n predators and your Chicago [Music] [Applause] [Music] Blackhawks the Chicago Blackhawks acknowledge that the team its foundation and the spaces we maintain work and compete with stand upon the traditional home land of the Miami Sagi o monom and the Council of the three FS Odawa Andi very cool very cool [Music] yeah that was awesome the history you just feel it it’s [Music] [Music] big fan yeah love okay so we always buy a puck in almost everywhere we go including every Arena we were in on our four games and four nights uh road trip earlier like a month ago pucks were like nine 10 bucks look how much these are here $18 $18 are you kidding me the pucks are expensive because they’re like a certain collectible style they don’t have any like basic screen printed ones so you’re going to pay ridiculous dollars just to get one crazy extensive CL requires crazy ice cream time though that cookies and cream ice cream wa really that’s hand scoop they they don’t have that in Sofer interesting what do you getting what are you getting I’m going to get an ice cream cup or waffle cone vanilla ice cream with sprinkles can you get it with sprinkles I think so that’s the helmet Sunday I’m just getting vanilla saucer all right we have our ice cream and now we head back to this it’s always weird to like walk up when like the players are playing like there’s an NHL game happening right here it’s pretty good pretty good ice cream [Applause] [Music] a Bard one timer from the stamp cooin spot what a shot what a shot wow Nashville looked so bad Nashville is a bad hockey [Applause] [Music] [Applause] so you have the pizza boxes [Music] there you got the pizza there and I bet they’re about to have to pass it all the way down there this should be fun the are ahead slow for the sausages the pepperon trying to catch up we’re a corner of the way through all the way in the [Applause] boxer Falls what’s going to happen there goes thepp sausage I think it was sausage I think it was sausage let’s confirm with a replay when we have a moment all the way in the box that is oh this is close pepperoni is now in so is in for the that was awesome that was so fun that was like the most fun little Arena game I’ve seen in a long time it’s different [Applause] too Soros just got undressed [Applause] [Music] [Applause] all right yeah want go that’s that’s something let’s get some more movement on the Move yeah let’s go [Music] uhoh oh myow I will say I this Chicago atmosphere is great as a Predators fan I’m struggling because this has I think this is the most embarrassing game for them in the year as a as Nash go go wow this is a scrap right here wow that was a big one there it is there it is they found him oh what a pass [Applause] on what an unbelievable speed wow it is five to one five to [Applause] one who knew this would [Applause] happen that’s the end of the period it’s 5 one we’re just going to hang out in here I think on this one goodness gracious this guy’s getting booed cuz he’s so [Music] bad let’s see DJ Oreo is about to get this place hyp count to 5 5 4 3 [Music] [Applause] 2 what we have been just absolutely rocking and rolling uh with a the DJ dance party and honestly I’ve kind of loved it it’s it’s been a great way to spin an intermission and we are underway in the third this is either going to be the most excellent comeback we’ve ever seen from the Nashville Predators or Nashville’s going to experience the most embarrassing loss of the season and it won’t be close they just almost scored again wow hey real quick I want to hop in that’s hilarious okay we’ll we’ll go back to [Music] [Applause] this well that’s officially really embarrassing for Nashville that’s bad but for Chicago I mean you guys rock and roll tonight and the final Chelsea Dagger and there it is the game and I don’t know if you can sense in that video like my personal nationville Predators frustration however this building was amazing and like we going to help but think about the glory years of Chicago here about 10 years ago like in the you know 2010s and they were winning all their Stanley Cups and just what an arena this must have been because tonight it was also amazing I truly think that when it comes to just like watching hockey in Arena this is one of my favorite I’ve ever been to it just feels like a perfect Arena sit back and watch a
