    Honorable mention to:

    Had a hard time deciding between Brewers & Mets. On one hand, I want to gain a further lead on the Mets, on the other, I want to chase down the Brewers. I’m personally leaning towards rooting for Milwaukee, because the #1 overall seed looks like it’s getting more and more locked up for Milwaukee, meanwhile I **really** don’t want to deal with the Phillies in the wildcard, so I really don’t want that WC3 spot. But, I can’t definitively put it down because I know some people want to genuinely chase down the Brewers, and at this point someone has got to make them start losing in order for that to come to fruition.

  3. First day in-office at my new job. Still scared shitless that I’m incompetent after a month of training WFH, but looking forward to it

  4. What this week in this sub has taught me:

    1. There will be a lot of Sox fans traveling for the game (also apparently the Venn diagram between creed and Sox fans is almost a circle, which is unsurprising given the demographics)

    2. Red Sox fans do not know how to use google/search function

    3. It’s not over until it’s over. This team hates to be comfortable and thrives in chaos

  6. Looking forward to more playoff atmosphere. Manny will get booed by Sox fans, which will ensure he hits at least one homer tonight. Do your thing, Pivetta!

    Pizza and Fri baseball tonight.
