THIRD PLACE, HERE WE COME!
Most of these games are unwatchable now. Season is turning into another slow motion train wreck
Dear God.
St. Louis is still the Armpit of the Midwest.
5.0 Games!

Feels like a turning point
Well that sucked. Gotta get it together for tomorrow and Sunday. I still think this series is winnable.
just pathetic baseball
no other way to slice it

No way they’re making a run for the division after this
We’re just full on collapsing aren’t we? This is so frustrating/sad to watch
This team is so fucking frustrating to watch right now
Our offense is consistent in its own way. Consistently making every opposing pitcher look like a Cy Young candidate.
Saved a sheet of paper, didn’t bother to score the game. Just listened, bitterly. Drank a fair bit.
This team is excruciating to watch
Unserious team, from the owner down to the last man on the roster
7 hits all singles and none for extra bases. Busch is hitting .137 in his last 16 games coming into tonight’s contest. Just make Nico the lead off hitter or reinstall Happ. At least he had a couple of hits tonight. Fucking dead ass offense gets shut out by a rookie pitcher with 5.08 ERA for six innings. They also haven’t stolen a base in 10 games now

I’m fixing to go 2011 Canucks fans level of outrage
Brewers can’t lose and Cubs can’t win. This combo sucks bigly.
Can’t really chalk it up to facing elite pitching anymore. The contact is bad; the approaches are mostly bad; it’s not a matter of hitting into bad luck. The offense is just not good, and it starts with 1-3 being abysmal.
There’s nearly 50 games left, but I think with the Brewers emerging as an elite team, it’s not hyperbole to say that the division is a longshot. I really cannot see the offense remaining this incompetent for another 7 weeks, so I think they’ve still got a good shot of getting one of the Wild Cards. That said, right now, they’ve got the energy of a team that makes the postseason by the skin of their teeth and is promptly bounced in the WC round.

woof
0-9 with RISP
I. Am. Sad.
At least we aren’t the fastest collapsing team. The Yankees have that honor
Embarrassing. Not much else to say. Jed’s teams always are a train wreck second half. Always!
Of six divisions in MLB, Milwaukee’s lead in NL Central is second largest only to Tigers in ALCentral at 6. Crazy how things can turn around so quickly.
8 runs one game, 1 run the next.
Crazy we are five games back at this point. It’s all fcked up
Since 2016, We just can’t have nice things.
We reorganized the kitchen today. Seems like the better choice, especially in hindsight.
This is the dark place, bros
Part of me think, get it out of your system now, while part of me thinks back to how I thought this was like the 2015 team just a year away…..
It’s August, time to forget how to play baseball…
Who cares
It’s not even the record it’s the fact that for almost half the season we are not a playoff team. Terrible baseball to the point that you have to wonder if the talent is there and if the first half of the season was a fluke.
Maybe Tucker isn’t an mvp, maybe Suzuki isn’t the best in the league at batting runs in, maybe Busch isn’t a franchise first baseman.
Pain
Everyone is so bad there’s no single solution. That’s the scary part. We kind of need actual magic at this point.
“We didn’t win a game tonight. Move on to tomorrow.” Yeah that’s not an okay answer anymore Craig. I don’t need to see him get angry or change his persona, but it’d be nice if he didn’t act like he couldn’t be bothered by anything. Motivate the team dude
“This is a good offense. We’re gonna score runs.”
