Anyone else have the feeling this is the biggest three game set of the season so far?

We stinks!
A player you loved and hated at the same time.
Love big Z! Saw him hit one 420+ left handed in a spring training game once.
This team could use some of his fire right now.
Bait. But I’m here for it <3
Dude has the biggest roid rage.
I’ll never forget the disappointment in Len Kaspers voice when Zambrano took a bat to the Gatorade machine.
That crazy mofo
“We stinks”. Loved his passion and his willingness to destroy a Gatorade cooler. Also he would have destroyed Lee in an alley fight
My brother LOVED him. I HATED him. Think that sums up his tenure as a cub lol
I got to watch his only career SB in person at Wrigley against the Mets in ‘06, in my very first time at Wrigley.
Some Uncle Fester with the little bulb schtick vibes going on
Jimmy Ballgame says hello.
But seriously he added personality to an otherwise one sided rivalry at the time.
HELL YA, BIG Z
One of my favorite memories, Big Z v Lincecum. Cubs 3-0 Rare warm night game in SF. 9 inning 2 hit shutout, hit a double, knocked in 2, Lincecum had a hit and pitched 7+, Randy Johnson pitched in relief. Buster Posey’s first start at catcher. Milling out of the park i greeted every Cub fan with loud and extended “Big Z”, went to Pop Scene afterwards, glorious night. Thank you, Big Z.l!
I wish we had peak Big Z on this team.
I really enjoyed him. Too bad he couldn’t keep a little more chill.
RIP cool Gatorade machine.
Bro was my favorite pitcher when I was a kid
There was nothing more exciting than Big Z a start. Would throw a shutout and hit a home run.
Time to start watching out for them Reds…
My dad randomly ran into him on the street toward the tail end of his career here.
My dad is a well-meaning, soft spoken Filipino man. Not the best English, but not bad.
He went up to Z, and basically said “hey man! I know everyone hates you now, but my son and I love you! Keep going man!”
And apparently, at least according to my dad, Z was super nice and said he appreciated the kind words.
Just a random story for a random shoutout
I love him could hit pitch and kick butt BIG Z💙❤️💙
Dawg
He was FAR from the best pitcher we’ve had in my lifetime, but I think he might very well be the most intimidating (except for maybe Chapman and Kerry Wood?). I will always love and celebrate Zambrano!
Didn’t he just play for the Chicago dogs like a couple years ago?
Edit: Wooooooo 2019 so like 6 years ago
*On April 16, 2019, Zambrano signed with the Chicago Dogs of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball.[82]
In 35 games (5 starts) 61 innings he struggled going 4-1 with a 5.16 ERA with 51 strikeouts. Zambrano again announced his retirement on January 17, 2020.*
He was awesome. Hate how it ended.
One thing for certain… When Z was out there, he wanted to *win*
He is literally the reason I’m a cubs fan today “el toro” was different
I will never forget not going to Milwaukee to see him throw a no-hitter against the Astros for $10
