And if you have, if you’re new to our channel, welcome. Let’s start making you some money with this matchup between the Athletics and the Baltimore Orioles. For the Athletics, it’s Jack Perkins listed as a starter in this one, while Brandon Young will get the nod for the Orioles here. And, you know, Young has has assumed a spot in this uh in this Orioles rotation, but he’s still 0 and5 on the year, 5.88 erra as a starter. You know, he’s 2-7 this season, or at least the Orioles are two- seven in his uh in his nine starts. And the thing about, you know, Brandon Young is that he’s had his his decent amount of success at home. So, if there’s nothing else for Brandon Young is that you can at least say he’s done well at Camden Yards, but I’ll tell you in the start since coming back into the rotation, he’s been a little bit shaky at times. You know, 5.79 erra, the fifth still above five suggests he’s still not pitching all that well. And now you face an athletics lineup that in the last two weeks, you know, has been doing damage regardless of who’s been on the other side. Whether it’s, you know, a lefty, a righty, it didn’t matter. I mean against righties in the last two weeks, the athletics are hitting 286. The team OPS numbers are third best in baseball. You know, the isolated power numbers are second best. Reasonable strikeout rate at 21.3%. So, I think that the athletics can get to Brandon Young early and often in this game. Now, Jack Perkins on the other side, he’s had his fair share of struggles, too. you know, mostly as a bullpen arm and, you know, he only made, you know, a uh a solitary start in his last outing and it was uh three innings, gave up four runs, three uh three walks as well as five hits. The thing for me, though, is that the, you know, the Orioles continue to be so inconsistent offensively that even though they’ve had great numbers in the last two weeks against right-handed pitching, you know, as of late, they’ve they’ve been struggling. I mean, they’ve dropped five of their last seven entering Friday’s action. And even though the team is still hitting 289 in the last two weeks against righties, I said I still have a hard time trusting this Orioles lineup here to the point that I don’t want to, you know, lay any sort of juice with them. Even at home, you know, the Athletics for me still have the better bullpen when it when it comes down to it. They have a 3.30 staff erra in the last two weeks, while the Orioles, their bullpen RA is one and a half runs higher at 4.82 in the last two weeks. So for me in this one, I I got to roll with the value here with the athletics. I just think that it should be a true coin flip minus 110 on both sides to get a little bit of plus money with the athletics. I think it’s good enough value for me in this one.
