Nevermind, I answered my own question:
The game originally scheduled for that date, a home game against the St. Louis Cardinals, was moved to Thursday, August 21st, 2025, to avoid a conflict with a Tampa Bay Buccaneers preseason game being held across the street
Fire the cannons!

Home show at Steinbrenner!
Interesting that they move a game opposite a Bucs pre-season game but not the one that starts within an hour of their regular season home opener a month later.
