And if you have, if you’re new to our channel, welcome. Let’s start making you some money with this matchup between the Atlanta Braves and the Miami Marlins from Truis Park. The Atlanta Braves sending out Joey Wentz for the start in this one. While the Miami Marlins will counter with Cal Quantrol and Quantrol has been one of the most profitable pitchers in baseball this season and the Marlins as a team have been one of the most profitable overall as well as on the road. So, you know, I see them as dogs here and I kind of get it because if you look at the the history of the Miami Marlins, this has historically been a team that struggled against left-handed pitching. when you look at their numbers against lefties, you know, even in the last two weeks, this has been a Marlins lineup that, you know, has just, like I said, had some had some issues. But, you know, the thing for me with the Miami Marlins is that I still think that this is a a quality lineup that, you know, has more than enough potential to do a lot of damage against a pitcher like Joey Wentz, who has had issues for the better part of the season. He’s coming off a start where he got absolutely rocked by the uh by the Milwaukee Brewers. Gave up five runs on seven hits over five and a third innings of work. And you know, if you look at the Marlins the last two weeks against lefties, this has been a bit of a uh a different script. I mean, they’ve had a lot of great power numbers against lefties. They’re, you know, top five and isolated power, but their team OPS numbers are below league average. The batting average is bottom 10 in baseball, borderline bottom five. They do have a high walk rate though at 10.7%. So, they can draw some walks here off of Joey Wentz. I think they could at least get some runners on the base pass and get to Wentz, maybe this Atlanta bullpen as well. On the other side, though, you have the uh the Marlins bullpen that at times has been, you know, up and down, you know, especially over the season. And, you know, in the last two weeks, their bullpen RA is at 4.54. The Braves, they do have an edge in the bullpen, but I don’t know if it’s enough for me to want to lay this kind of juice here with Joey Wentz. I get it. again, a Marlins against a lefty. And normally I’ve subscribed to that, you know, rationale in the past, but I said I think that the Marlins, there is something to be said for how well Miami has played on the road this season. So, I’m going to back Miami in this one. Catching the plus money, and that’s going to be my free pick.
