She’s in Chicago to do a play directed by her husband. Everything ain’t about your precious Cubbies. Plus the Cubs aren’t playing at home this week.
As a Cards fan with a Cubs fan mom from Chicago, I get it. She would attend Cards games but never root against the Cubs. I found that out for the first time in the 1989 season, and it made me respect her fandom a lot more.
I would not recognize her walking down the street.
