like any of us on here are qualified to tell this dude he’s working out wrong lol
Bron got a pair of Vibrams? Nice
I can’t really figure out what he’s trying to do here
“Plates”
LeBron could be juggling 55’s and I still wouldn’t question if that’s a good workout.
It’s a weird form ngl.
Looks like deadlift meets a standing row. But wtf do I know, bro had the top trainers in the world I’m sure.
Looks like hes loading up on the explosive part of the clean and jerk. These athletes always use specific parts of exercises because they train hyperspecific moments for essentially small gains. But the shit Dame was doing with his trainer was just wild.
If LeBron is doing it, it’s probably the best workout possible for his body.
The man has been able to play professional sports for like 52 years. My back hurts picking up toys off the floor. No place for me to judge.
That’s exactly what I look like when I take my shirt off.
Please believe me.
Op really asking this sub if it’s a good workout or not
LeBron, bro u can afford a trap bar. I’ve seen ur contract, gang.
Looked like he was going to do hang cleans for a second but he’s doing some sort of partial sumo deadlift? Like a deadlift with the range of a romanian deadlift. Not sure what the purpose is but partials are pretty common for athletes
I tore my ACL just watching this.
I know lebron is an outlier but man seeing a dude in his 40s play at that level with his performance/stats genuinely makes me feel like anyone can get at least get in shape lol
Who am I to question LeBrons workout lol
What is unc doing lol
Dude is in great shape. But then again his job is to be in shape and has access to top facilities, trainers, nutritionists, doctors, etc.
If people watched his podcast he says he doesn’t workout like most because he doesn’t want the added weight up top. It makes you slower and less agile. Focusing on lower body and core keeps you agile and strong without the bulk slowing you down.
Mike Israetel about to drop the reaction video of the year.
That’s a weird movement, for sure.
I can’t wait to see retired, fat, bron.
Just get Dr.Mike to do a video over it, like any of us here are qualified to critique his lifts.
I don’t think an average person should be looking at LeBron James social media workout videos as a gauge on what he normally does. He’s got a coach that probbly charges more than our annual salary that works out with him behind the scenes.

Those are some big ass 5lb plate
Ehh it’s kinda a weird movement. But as a S&C I get why he does what he does in a lot of his workouts you see. He will never lift like any gym bro you see. He’ll never Olympic lift or bodybuild per say. He’s going to whatever makes him the best basketball player.
In this particular exercise, it’s kinda weird. It’s a snatch grip deadlift? Except he’s starting at the top. So more like an RDL. But the bar doesn’t touch the floor. And he’s squatting. And it can’t be a hang snatch because he’s well below his knees with the bar. The snatch grip in this type of movement is strictly for your upper back. Idk man
Ah yes, the infamous *Snatch-grip Sumo Squat-Deadlift Hybrid* — a staple in the lifting repertoire for freaks of nature like my king LeMeat James 👑🥵
No, the professional athlete who has had like 3 primes and has played at a higher level longer than anyone ever in any sport ever doesn’t do good workouts. /s
How is that HUGE red plate only 5 lbs? And the white is 10 lbs? That means LeBron is doing this exercise with like 80 lbs total? (Including 45 for the bar.)
This must be a warmup or something, because LeBron is a huge guy, in both height and muscles.
I have no clue what he’s doing here. That’s like 75lbs which is hardly anything to deadlift. I’m guessing he’s training something very specific with the guidance of a trainer, so I’d say no, this is not a good workout for a workaday man. Because A.) LeBron is a top tier athlete who has people that can track exactly what he needs, and the idea that this movement at this weight is exactly what a middle aged father of 3 needs is highly unlikely and B.) this isn’t a workout, it’s just one lift and it’s only two reps that are nowhere close to failure.
That’s honestly ridiculous lol. Idc if you want to nuthug him, wide grip sumo stance deadlifts with like 70lbs is a ridiculously stupid workout. It’s accomplishing nothing.
Just cause he maybe the goat doesn’t mean what he’s doing in the weight room makes sense.
That’s not only terrible form, a double with like weight so pathetic for him it doesn’t even do anything good or bad. It’s just a waste of time.
