That’s the least competitive we’ve been in a long time.
Didn’t get skunked party! 🎉

Win the series tomorrow. End of story
Boston wasted all their runs for game 3, the fools
Do not let Colton Gordon back on this roster until 2026.
Funny enough I think McCormick was our least hopeless pitcher on the mound tonight
To quote Gimli: THAT STILL ONLY COUNTS AS ONE
Just win tomorrow and win the series. We’re tied with the Mariners, but we’ve been in a dogfight for two seasons now. Just have to finish strong
But yeah, fuck the Red Sox. Breggy is definitely telling them exactly how to play us, and they are thriving against us. They terrify me in the playoffs, but we just have to make the dance and anything can happen
Also! To all you fucking casuals: If you can’t handle a close division race, where the fuck were you the last two years? Stay off of r/baseball if you value your sanity though, the victory laps are already in full force
That’s right nobody shuts out the Astros
Chas with a better outing than Dubin is insane. All this happened because Espada took Okert out for Dubin with 2 outs.
Arrighetti looked great overall. Walks are an issue but there’s still rust to be shaken off. 1 hit in 5 is very excellent
Well that sucked. Time to jack off
Idk dfa colton or somethin
Known reliever Chas McCormick with a stellar performance tonight. That aside, as we’ve said in other blowouts, a loss is a loss regardless of the score. Let’s get the series win tomorrow.
Sigh tied with Seattle
Fucking run ted cruz out of this state. Jfc dude can’t take a hint. Fuck it see yall tomorrow
At least we are still tied for the division lead and we went down in an epic fashion in our defeat today 🫠

That was really like two games. Arrighetti and May were in a pitcher’s duel, then the bullpen did what they did against the A’s and Rays earlier this year. Our weaknesses from the beginning of the season (hitting, especially power hitting) are now our strengths, and the strengths we had (starting and relief pitching) are now our weaknesses.
God I’m so sick of playing the Red Sox
Well guys we have no choice but to win. Or we’ll be a game behind if Seattle wins tomorrow. I wish Yordan and Meyers were back already. Along with Paredes. Having those 3 in the lineup would smack. Spencer started looking better towards the end. Sucks that the hit by pitch on story wasn’t a swing. It looked like one. On to the next.
Well, Arrighetti did fine. Meltdown in one innings that he might have still got out of clean without the unlucky HBP.
Espada sometimes gets too cute with his analytics, and when it doesn’t work out, it doesn’t look great. At least the bullpen didn’t get taxed too much and the score starts at 0-0 again tomorrow. A series win against one of the best teams in the league right now would be a good outcome.
Welp, it finally happened. After a month of mid baseball, we let the Mariners catch up. The team needs to lock in, but there is no room for error now.
All I’m saying is Chas only gave up 2 runs in an inning we might have something to work with here maybe he can start pitching😂
Win tomorrow. Can’t afford to lose many series the rest of the way.
Hell yeah we scored a run
Tied in AL West and tied in the season head-to-head.
Let’s hope that’s as close Seattle gets from this point on.
We got them right where we want them
Perfect, we got them right where we want them.
As long as we keep winning series, that’s all that matters.
Also, 11-13 since the ASB. I honestly thought it would’ve been worse. It probably feels worse because of how hot Seattle has been.

Superman didn’t save us tonight
I’m fine with using Bryan Abreu and Steven Okert handling all bullpen duties from here on out.

I wish I had y’all optimism. I think tomorrow we lose 1st outright and never get it back.

Player of the game: That Energetic Bat
Just win tomorrow and take another series. We get Baltimore this weekend. Seattle has to go to queens
We got shutout by a pitcher our announcers confused for Queen guitarist Brian May lol. Let’s get em tomorrow and win the series.
Thank god we didn’t trade our ace Arrighetti for a washed Dylan Cease, we might have really gotten fleeced!
Sorry guys was my yearly visit to the stadium, wont be there till next year
Once Boston leaves town, we finish out the month with 7 games against Baltimore and a series with Detroit, Colorado, and Anaheim. All teams we typically play very well against. We will finish August with sole possession of first in the west, maybe even the second best record in the AL.
If Spaghetti gets the walks down he’ll look pretty good! Hard to judge Dubin in his first game back. And please god give Chas more than one fucking start in a row like Holy shit. I dont give a fuck about his OPS vs righties just fucking try it.
Win the series tomorrow, all that matters. It was always going to be a tight division race with the M’s, especially after the deadline. Can’t control them (and the dogshit teams they’ve been feasting on) just gotta win our games (AND GET/STAY HEALTHY).
Lmao I can’t believe I missed Chas pitching
