We got game three of this series between the Rays and the Athletics going down on this Wednesday. We saw the Tampa Bay Rays pick up a nice win on Monday. Won that game seven to four. I was actually on the Athletics in that game. So, yeah, that stung a little bit, but shout out the Rays. They needed that win. This has been one of the colder teams in the MLB since, you know, the All-Star break. But got a nice win there. I am on the athletics in game two. I’m recording this video before that game starts. So, I’m rolling the dice once again on the on the athletics on Tuesday. We’ll see how it goes. But Wednesday, it’s kind of hard not to take the Rays in this one, guys. It’s kind of hard not to take the Rays. I just think this is a starting pitching mismatch here. You got Drew Rasmusen on the mound for the Rays. He has been their ace. He has been their most reliable, most consistent starter in this Rays rotation. Four-1 in his last five starts. 295 erra in his last five starts as well. I’m a Drew Rasmusing guy, don’t get me wrong. He doesn’t really go too far in these games, but he at least sets this Rays team up to win games more often than not. On the other hand, you do got JT Chin on the mound for the athletics. Not a big JT Chin, guys, or I’m not a b a big JT Jin guy. That’s a little bit of a tongue twister there, but yeah, he’s a guy I just want to fade to be perfectly honest with you. He was a guy I was fading last season. He’s been a guy I’ve been fading this season as well. He has a he’s allowed a combined seven earned runs in his last two starts. I want to figure out a way to take the Rays in this one. I do. And I’ve kind of went back and forth. Do I want to take the Rays full game or do I really want to back Drew Rasmus to take the first five? And I think that’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to go raise first five in this game. First five money line. Or you can lay the half a run if you want to try to get some plus money. I think it’s going to come down to if the Rays could give Drew Rasmus Mustin some run support and I think they will. You know, the Rays started off hot on Monday. They scored some runs early in that game. And even though the Rays have been struggling, this is a lineup that still has a lot of firepower. They still this is a lineup that still is really solid. And bringing this lineup into this ballpark in Sacramento, I do expect him to be able to put up a couple runs in the first five in this game. And then from there, I think Drew Rasmusson does what he does best and that’s pitching a good five innings. I mean, he doesn’t go much farther than five. Like I said, for some reason, the Rays have had a short leash on Drew Rasmosen all season long, but in those five innings, he’ll give you some good work. So, that’s going to be my play, guys.
