I watched this interview. This was a joke said by Allen nothing more.
I am certain I know exactly which bar he is referencing. Around the time he was in school there they sometimes did a promotion where they would give you five drinks for five dollars they were supposed to just be like beers but the bartenders let you order just about anything as long as it was a well drink and they validated the coupon.
What does kicking the door down, mean? I fear that I am old and out of touch for not knowing the new hip slang.

As much as I dislike the Bussin guys this and the Beane interviews were pretty good. A mix of actual thoughtful questions and dumb lowbrow humor. Plus they crowned Josh the Magnus Carlsson of dick jokes.
