This is Absolutely RIDICULOUS…

This is absolutely ridiculous as another report linking a star to the Phoenix Suns has caught the eye of myself and I don’t think Brian Gregory or Matt Ishvia is going to make this move as they would not have the assets to get it done. But not only just that, the contract situation, the type of play style, all I think would not fit how this Suns team wants to work forward with Jordan and this new system. So, we’re going to dive in and explore why I think this is absolutely blasphemous in this latest episode here on Suns Digest. I’m your host, Bruce BZ. We’ll be diving and exploring all the latest on the Phoenix Suns here on this channel, as you guys know. So, make sure to hit the subscribe button and let me know your thoughts down below in the comments section if you want to stay up to date on everything revolving around the Suns team. It’s been very quiet over these last couple of days, so there hasn’t been much to talk about. But with this latest, we had to dive in and explore what is really going on in Phoenix Sun’s world. So, without further ado, let’s dive in and let’s explore the latest. Make sure to grab that snack and let’s get into it. As like I’ve said multiple times and you will hear multiple times throughout the video, I don’t think that this is physically possible and I think this is crazy to even be talking about it. But let’s dive in and let’s get into it. as the Orlando Magic are apparently the favorites to be Trey Young’s next team courtesy of Bvda official. We all know Bvda and NBA Central have their great partnership where NBA Central tweets out random tweets regarding a BDA official odds and none of them actually transpire. The Magic find themselves at the favorites of Trey Young’s next team. The Celtics were favorites back of Ben Simmons a couple while ago. The Suns have been favorites of Chris Middleton and that still has not changed of today. And that’s where the Suns come in. Slated at plus 450 odds, right behind the Kings, Nets, and Magic for Trey Young and right above the Rockets and the Miami Heat. Basically just taking random names and throwing them there on this list because at plus 450 odds, they should not be the odds for the Phoenix Suns. The odds should be a lot higher for the Phoenix Suns if you were to pull every single team across the league to try to get them in Trey Young. And for many reasons. The first reason we’ll go over is apparently why Trey Young’s even being discussed being traded. Apparently, it’s because the Hawks have yet to offer Trey Young an extension per Mark Spears. He says he’s disappointed that it hasn’t come, which has led to everyone once again around the league talking about how the fact that the Hawks and Trey Young could be potentially getting a deal done or trying to find a trade and which has led him to be the next name on the trade block, the next name mentioned by Bovda official in all these trade reports. But I don’t think that the Suns are going to do this. Like I mentioned, you look at his contract, $45 million, next year making 48 on a player option. He is then a free agent. So, you could say maybe Trey Young and his Atlanta Hawks team could potentially be looking to do something if Tray Young’s not going to be getting his money. Well, then he could be outside of the Hawks. I don’t think so. Look at what the Atlanta Hawks just did this past off season. They’ve put in all their chips to win for Trey Young. They signed and traded or they went and signed to kill Alexander Walker from the Atlant from the Minnesota Timberwolves. He came in main reason why he came over. Trey Young recruited him. He went and ch they went and got Christophs Porzingis for Terrence man and George Nang. Two guys who are on their end of their rotation and weren’t going to be playing official minutes for them this season. They went out and got a pick and pop score from the three-point range who when he is healthy is one of the better offensive bigs across the NBA. Not to add the fact that he can be a solid rim protector and rim return in the paint as well. Match that with Ono Okongu’s electric ability to be a solid rebounder and shot blocker down low in the paint. The wing diversity of Zachary Rezar and Jaylen Johnson now bringing in many multiple players into this rotation like Nikail Alexander Walker, Dyson Daniels as well. Even drafting Asa Newell their number one selection at the pick 13 falling back to 23. They have put all the chips and pieces into Trey Young’s hands. And this offseason, you could argue that this is the year that they’re doing that all together. They’re giving Trey Young his best opportunity since they’ve yet to win an NBA championship or since they have made the Eastern Conference Finals back in 2021. So, the Hawks yet to offer Trey Young an extension is a little bit weird because they’re putting every other chip in front of Trey Young to prove to them that they’re trying to build for him now and for this season. And I expect because Trey Young does have that player option, he is going to accept it next year and will be getting a contract in the 2027 2028 season and which Trey Young will negotiate this contract with the team this season going into it after having some stellar play throughout the year. He will get that contract extension and the Hawks won’t have all this money tied up to all these other players like Kristoff Sporzing guys on long-term deals because they’ll be expired. So, they’ll have that money to give out to Trey Young. And that’s where I don’t think the Suns will get him. Not to mention the fact that the Suns don’t have any tradable draft capital to get Trey Young, right? Let’s not forget Trey Young, ladies and gentlemen, is very good. Top tier player across the league, solid playmaker, can score at will, and yes, could be solid within this rotation alongside Devin Booker, right? But two offensively skilminded guards playing on the offensive end with not one of them being an effective defender. What could that remind you of? Hm. That Bradley Beal and Deon Booker from a couple seasons ago. Now, obviously Trey Young’s a little bit better of a play better playmaker, point guard, can initiate that role similar to where Bradley Beiel couldn’t in the Frank Fogle system, but arguably I don’t want to see that run again. Next, once again, what are they going to trade for a guy in Trey Young? Even if they are able to convince Trey Young that this is the perfect fit and this is the best fit for them. When you look at the Suns possible trading assets, they have nothing. They have nothing. Jaylen Green, who has no trade value around the league at $33 million. Now you’re $13 million shy, have to add a Royce O’Neal or Grayson Allen. Well, guess what, ladies and gentlemen? That’s physically not happening because the Atlanta Hawks are not taking Jaylen Green and Grayson Allen or Royce O’Neal for Trey Young. They’re not going to do that. Well, you could say the Suns can add on some draft capital. Well, ladies and gentlemen, we already talked about with Jonathan Gaminga that the Suns have no first round picks to be traded. They only have three second round picks that can be sent. Why would they do a deal with three second round picks and those two guys for Trey Young when they can get the boatload from one of these top tier teams like uh Orlando Magic, like a Brooklyn Nets, like a Sacramento Kings if they’re willing to sell the farm. They’re not going to be able to get the selling farm from the Phoenix Suns because the Phoenix Suns don’t have any on the farm to sell. They’re not trading Deon Booker. They physically can’t. Not even to the fact that they extended him and have done all that, but they’re not trading Deon Booker. They have no other salaries to trade to do so. It would be Jaylen Green or and and Royce O’Neal or Grayson Allen or Jaylen Green added to the fact or Grayson Royce and all these other players. Second round picks, throw it in, whatever. It’s not going to happen. It’s just not going to happen. The Phoenix Suns just don’t have the leverage. If they don’t have the leverage to sign a guy in Jonathan Kaminga, who in my opinion has still more to prove than Trey Young clearly has, as he hasn’t even gotten his first long-term extension. But not even just that. hasn’t even gotten to the reaches that Trey Young has gotten to with obviously being on the Atlanta Hawks team, being that number one option, leading this team to an Eastern Conference Finals a couple years ago. John hasn’t moved to to any of that on his resume or atmosphere. And what makes you think that if the Suns can’t get him, they’re going to be able to snaggle and get a guy in Trey Young. It just doesn’t make sense. So once again, like I’ve said regarding BDA official and all these reports, do not take them for it granted. Beta NBA Dunk Central have a nice little package together. see it was like when they like to work off each other and maybe make some money off each other with some of these tweets and some of these betting odds. So once again, the Suns at plus 450 odds I think is absolutely hilarious. I would put them at plus 10,000 15,000 the highest you could honestly go with the Phoenix Suns because not to mention the fit of Trey Young and Deon Booker doesn’t make the most sense. Even though in Jordan’s two guard offensive system of Darius Garwin and Donovan Mitchell, it could work retrospectively on paper. I don’t think that it’s going to be the best for the Phoenix Suns. I don’t think that they should be investing $450 million into another offensive scoring guard similar like when they have Deon Booker when clearly they have holes at the wing and big man position and particularly need a defensive playmaking point guard. Those are areas that this team should be looking to address trying to figure out roles that this team lacked going into last season to trying to identify what could be the key difference makers for really setting up this team for the future and the best way to build around Deon Booker. seems like they’re going into that with the youth movement, with the athletic wings, with that size. And it looks like the Suns will be contributing to doing trying to do that this season as well. And I think Trey Young kind of veers away from all that discussion like we’ve had this entire off seasonason. So once again, I think it’s absolutely ridiculous. I would not bank on the Suns getting Trey Young this season or potentially even next season. Maybe down the line. Jaylen Green plays up his trade value. They get some more. They get some more draft capital back. They’re able to finagle some things. But at this very moment, the Suns can’t get Jonathan Kaminga for Grayson Allen in three second round picks. The Suns are not getting Trey Young for Jaylen Green in three second round picks. It’s just not happening. 1. Suns have zero chance of trading for Trae young. Couldn’t even pull a sign and trade for Kuminga… what makes anyone think we have a package for Trae young with zero tradable first round picks?? Jalen Green would have to look like an all star this year to even have a chance then it’s also gonna cost you Dunn and Maluach and that still might not be enough…
