Unserious team
Going to try and erase this from my memory to avoid despondency. Watch us win the series against the Yankees now 🙂↔️

You just know the Rockies will miss setting the loss record by 4 or fewer.
This team is dreadfully boring to watch. A team full of role players and bench players.
Unfortunately this was as predictable after beating Cubbie and Dodger ass. I’m not shocked.
these dudes played 5 innings and then packed it in against a historically bad team.
this team stinks worse than Gargamel’s bathwater.
Barely avoided a sweep. What a bunch of fucking pussies
thanks for tapping down all that reckless optimism 🙁
Losing this much to the Rockies is embarrassing.
lol at the people that thought this team had a chance with being 3 games out of a wild card spot because they won a series against the Dodgers. As we just saw, bad teams can upset better teams in any given series.

Dismal & abysmal
We are garbage
i wonder why it is that cardinals team over the past 3 or 4ish years consistently “play down” to competition so often. (i know “playing up” and “playing down” are amorphous concepts, but it does seem to be pretty consistent)
Well that’s a kick to the nuts. Only the 2nd homer Romero’s given up all year.
There are still Mo/Dewitt defenders on this sub. No clue how, but they exist. My question to them, if Mo wasn’t retiring at the end of this year, would you expect him to get fired at the end of the year?
IrRational deSpondence!
Goold reports that the Rockies won two series against the Cards and have lost 33 of the other 37 series they’ve played this year.
This is just fuckin terrible lol
The Rockies take 2 of 3 from the Oli Marmol led Cardinals, AGAIN lmao. Just the guy I want leading my ball club!
It could be worse today, we could be the twins!
I hate my life
Dammit, Mickey. Why couldn’t you do this when you were with the Phillies?!? Why do you have take it out on my other team now?

And let’s be honest, Romero is an eighth inning guy, not a closer. O’Brien is showing signs of being a closer. Oli definitely fucked that up
It’s not even lunch time here in Hawaii and the game is over. I think will have a Mai tai to drown my sorrows
Wow, dropping two series to a historically bad team should be an impossible task, yet here are our Redbirds, making history
I’m waving the white flag. Throwing in the towel. Can’t get a wild card berth losing 4 out of 6 to this dumpster fire. I will say it does matter when you play a team in the schedule. The Rockies could not win a game in April and May.
We should’ve traded Donovan when we had the chance. Someone would have massively overpaid. Since June 1st he’s batting .229 with a .640 OPS
Ah yes, the Cardinals win the season series against the Dodgers but lose the season series against the Rockies. I think I know who truly deserves the world series title if the Dodgers repeat
One of the most embarrassing outcomes of the season.
Cards account for 12.5% of the Rockies total wins this season 🤡
