Hader Update

  1. Seems to be a pattern

    Discomfort

Second opinion <- we are here

    Progressing well

    Out for year

  2. Espada’s followup to this was “this is going to be a little longer than two weeks.”

  3. My guess is capsule strain, similar to what Brantley had.

He’s done for the year, and maybe part of next year as well.

You wonder if that 36 pitch outing had anything to do with it.

  4. That is tough, maybe Abreu can slide into the closer role. Sousa move to set-up. Rest of the pin will need to step up.

  5. I don’t think I’ve seen this many injuries on a baseball team ever. I wonder what the record is.

  6. I have said it before, I will say it again:

I will not be kind to any Mariners fan wanting to talk shit if they manage to win the division this season

All it took for them to do it was have a win streak they have not had since 2023 and for us to lose:

    Yordan
    All-star 3B having a career year
    Starting CF
All-star SS having a career year (missing one month)

    SP #3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8

    And our All-star closer

  7. This season has to be the most fucked injury wise I’ve ever seen. Like it’s truly a miracle this team has been able to overcome it all thus far. Like what the actual hell is going on.

  8. This is feeling alot like 2018. We have a good team, but injuries just getting in the way.

  9. How do these injuries keep happening? It’s unreal! I mean it can’t just be chalked up to “bad luck.” This is insane.
