one Dean Kramer and Singi. He likes pitching at home. Well, truly for him, there is no place like home. He’s been so dominant here. And as a teammate, you expect him when pitching at home this year to go out and dominate just as he has. The fans expect it and I think everyone around here knows that he’s a good pitcher. Even though we don’t see the same splits on the road, we’re going to start to see that translate as well. Okay, all set to go. Here’s the left fielder, Randy Roserena. And that one fouled off. That’s towards center. Gets under it and he makes the catch. One down. And now we check out the Mariners lineup. And it’s clear the most important job they have today is getting to the starting pitcher early and often. No doubt about that. That’s the best way to disrupt a game. But can they do it? Certainly something for us to pay attention to in this one, partner. And now for Seattle, Cal Raleigh. Chris, he’s definitely going to finish the year with a new careerhigh in homers. We just don’t know how many he’s going to hit quite yet. Top of the zone for a called strike. looked pretty good as far as being in the strike zone, but I’m sure as a hitter not too good with where it was located. Very top of the strike zone, middle away. And that one wrapped foul. The wind and the pitch. Foul ball left side. He’ll see another and the 02 swings and miss has struck him out. He came out of his mechanics there. Typically likes to shoot the ball the other way, but that time little anxious and now it’s Julio Rodriguez. Hard hit to third. throws across the diamond and that is that. We’re midway in inning number one. No score. And we’re back. And on the hill in this one, George Kirby and Chris pitching on the road has not been particularly kind to him. Yeah. And you don’t want to be too quick to say that he can’t pitch on the road. Sometimes, you know, it’s just a matter of luck. It’s not having a feel difference between the bullpin mound to the mound out there on the playing field. Don’t know what it is, but I know this. He’s got good enough stuff to overcome and get it done on the road as well as at home. So, we’ll see what he’s able to do in this one. Liner caught at second. Time now to take a look at the Orioles lineup put together by manager Brandon Hyde. And so far this year, this has not been a very good offense. Well, in this day and age, if you can’t slug and get on base, that OPS has to be at a certain level. If you’re going to produce runs, give your pitchers an opportunity as they’re facing tough offenses as well. Jordan Westber the next to hit for the Orioles. Up and in. And that’s ball one. Westbird batting second in today’s lineup and he was a second round pick in 2020 outside and the count now two and nothing. Pretty easy to give up on that pitch right there. Started on the edge of the plate with the spin. You know it’s going to finish well off the plate. Here’s a two- missed. [Applause] Let’s see if he gives him anything to hit here. That just missed. He walked him on four pitches. And that’s how they get their first base runner of the game. He did not take the bat off his shoulder the entire at bat. And the batter will be the shorts stop, Gunnar Henderson. at 96. That pitch is in for a strike. Come on, let’s keep it going. Slap the other way. Foul. This is one of those situations defensively where you can’t try to do too much. You got to make sure that you feel the ball cleanly and get one out first. It’s going to be tough to get two with this kind of speed in the batters box. [Applause] And that’s way high and a count one and two. His understanding of the strike zone very impressive. That was a very close O2 fastball. I just don’t know how you take that. Got him swinging. Here’s Adley Rutman on the corner at the knees for a strike. Let’s go. Two outs and there’s a foul ball. Come on. Fast ball. Almost got him there. Swang and a highf fly ball hit the air left center field. This one’s got a chance. One hops off the wall. Should be extra bases. And they strike first as they take a one- nothing lead. Good two- strike hitting right there, Boo. A bit of a lost start for some. So, that was nicely done to beat the odds. I love the approach he had right there with that pitch. Not trying to do too much, but still looking to drive it. And that’s exactly what he’s able to do into the opposite field gap for the double. So, runner at second, two down. Here’s Ryan Mount Castle. First pitch just misses. This hitter loves attacking the first pitch, so not giving him something to hit is a good move. right side hard hit. Slings to first and that’ll keep more runs from coming in. Inning over. The O’s add one on an RBI double. It’s an early one- nothing lead. Major League Baseball is on the show. Back here in Baltimore, here’s Josh Naylor. He’s sitting on 99 career homers. We’ll see if this is the moment to notch number 100. Naylor needs just one more homer to reach 100 in the big leagues and immediately pumps in a strike to the left-handed hitter. Yeah, and making it to a 100 homers would be quite the career accomplishment for him. Out of the more than 20,000 players to take an at bat in the majors, less than 5% have ever hit a 100 dingers. This one smashed down the right field line and it goes just foul. And that’s downstairs. And the count is one and two. And there’s a ball. Swings through that one. It’s a strike out. Aueno Suarez up to hit now. And the first pitch misses for ball one. One out. Base is empty. That one’s in there. That’s strike one. Looks like a really good fast ball today. You can hear that catcher mitt popping. Looking forward to hearing a lot of that one in this one. Fouled off. He was late. Let’s go Dean. Fights that one away. Still one and two. One down. Base is empty. And that’s in the dirt. Still two and two after the foul ball. [Music] Hit hard on the ground to short. Whips it across. That was a strong atbat even though he couldn’t find a way on base. Battal. The batter now Jorge Palanco. Baltimore first offering and it just misses. Two outs. Base is empty. Next offering is down low. That’s a strike. in the air left side. Carlson makes the catch. Chitting over. After an inning and a half, it’s one- nothing. Back now at Oral Park. And now Kobe Mayo. Kobe Mayo. Kirby back to work. Fast for a strike. Ow. And two now bows it back with two strikes. Struck him out without a swing. He’s got to be frustrated with that call. Everything in that at bat was away until the final pitch. three pitches in a row on the outside part of the plate. And of course, that gets you conditioned to look out there, maybe a little bit out on your toes. So, a great call on pitch number four to just hit that inside part of the plate and freeze him for strike three. Digging in, Ryan Nota, that misses the zone. And that is ball one. That one pushed foul. The 1-1 is fouled off. That missed by a lot. Now two and two. Swings and hits one in the air out towards right field that gets down for a hit. So a man aboard now with one away. away. Batting eight, leftielder. This is Dylan Carlson taken high in the draft. He’s had that top prospect label over him since he put on a professional uniform, but at some point that starts to go away and you’ve got to produce at the big league level. [Applause] Base knock center field. The throw to third not in time. He’s safe. Batting night center fielder number lasted Boo. And as broadcasters, we can go weeks without seeing a ball hit 115 mph, which is what Statcast tells us there. Man, he really got the bat through the zone and did not get cheated. Yeah, that ball was absolutely smoked. Now at the plate, number 31. And a foul ball. And that one pulled foul. Ball one there. That misses. And that’s ball two. Really good take, especially with two strikes. and a swing and a miss. And he’s registered three Ks in this one. Typically that high fast ball if it’s close to the top of the strike zone, a hitter, if he’s prepared for it, can get to it. But that one just had that little jump at the end, which indicates there’s a good spin rate on it and it didn’t decrease in velocity as that hitter’s internal clock would expect it to. And that’s why you see the swing and miss. And now it’s going to be Jackson Holiday tapped at the plate, but it’s a foul ball. Getting a little frustrated with the strike zone. Runners on first and third. Two away. Bottom half of inning number two. Foul ball. It stays nothing and two. [Music] Two on, two outs. And that one missing inside. A sharp slider. just misses with that one. Was a good pitch there. Really had some run and finished little up and end just on the edge. And that’s one of those if you swing at it. He had a broken bat as you jog back to the dugout. Not the runner at third. Carlson on first with two down. And that one hit to first and it gets by him. In comes the run from third. It’s two nothing. Everybody’s going to be safe. A perfect example right there. That plate discipline, it pays off. The deeper he gets into account, the more comfortable he becomes and he usually wins the battle. First and second, two outs. Now here is Jordan Westber and that’s in there for strike one. [Applause] This to third. Suarez sends it across to first. That ends the inning and they limit the damage, but the RBI single pushes across a run and it’s two zip. You’re watching Major League Baseball exclusively on the show. Top half of the third inning. And here is Dominic Kenzone. Come on. And a foul ball. Yoan right through there for a strike. [Applause] That one misses. One and two to count. He missed the zone, but I don’t think he missed his spot. That was a good pitch with two strikes. Great job of laying off those pitches down in the zone to even the count up at two and two. Such a better feeling for the hitter. Stays alive. popped up to the left into foul ground has room and he makes the catch. Batting eight shortstop JP Crawford and stepping in for the Mariners JP Crawford that catches the top part of the zone. It’s 0 and one. There’s the strike of the knees. I understand you want to try to gauge that guy’s fast ball, but you also have to be aggressive and ready to hit in your zone. Now you’re in a tough spot. [Applause] And ball one. That’s a really good job of laying off the O2 high fast ball is going to make that pitcher really have to respect this hitter even though he’s behind in the count. And that just misses. Keeps the bat going with a foul ball to the right side. and he takes it himself for the out. Well, he’s doing a nice job of keeping the ball out of the air. Lets the defense work behind him with another ground ball. Good execution. So, two down now. And here is Cole Young. And that’s in for a strike. [Applause] That clips the zone. 0 and two now. Chases the fast ball up the ladder. Struck him out. Nobody left for Seattle and they’re down two nothing. And welcome back to the ballpark as we go to the last of the third leading off Gunnar Henderson. And that misses and it’s one and0. Chris, you played here in 2002. What are the memories that stand out as to being a member of the Baltimore Orioles? For me, it was just pulling into the parking lot and having those that were there with a an encouraging smile or a pat on the back regardless of how things were going. It made it a lot easier to come to the ballpark, whether you were doing well or you were struggling. And then the way that they treated your family, I mean, this is a great place to play and I’d say it’s got to be one of the top places in all of baseball. Swing and a ball driven out to center. that one back there and that is gone. He crushes that one to center field. Home run number 15 on the year. It’s 3 nothing. He absolutely feasts on right-handed pitching and devours that one for a homer. And you can see that’s what he expects of himself at bat after at bat. He’s that confident. Knew what pitch he wanted to hit. spent on some other pitches in this at bat. Was very patient and it paid off. Here comes the skipper and we’re going to see a pitching change in this spot. George Kirby departs and this is one he’d like to forget. Back with a new arm after this. [Applause] Now pitching Brian Woo comes on now. Gets an opportunity to square off against his former team. So I wouldn’t be surprised if he came out a little extra jacked up right here. Now the catcher up to hit. Adley Rutman in there at the knees. Strike one. And you had a cameo in the movie Moneyball as an Orioles player in a highlight clip. Always exciting to see a laid-off home run in an inning. kind of gets the offense fired up and you start to expect a big inning. Meanwhile, activity in the bullpen. Jackson Kowar getting loose out there. That one just misses. And they’ll do it again. The one two. No, that’s outside ball. That one missed. fouled off again and it remains three and two. Good battle here about to be the eighth pitch of the at bat. And down on strikes he goes. He battled for a long time, but it finishes with a strikeout. You can’t be mad at yourself after an at bat like that one. Really good battle right there. And that final pitch probably could have gone either way. He was hoping he’d get ball four. Instead, the umpire rings him up for the backwards K Ryan Mount Castle the next to hit for the Orioles. And the first pitch misses for ball one. Popped foul out of play off to the right. on the ground out to short. It slings to first in time. Now batting first baseman Kobe Mayo. Two down, base is empty. And next for the Orioles, Kobe Mayo. He’s 0 for one. [Music] in there and it’s 0 and one. 01. And that one fouled off. [Music] misses. Now one and two [Music] and there’s a ball. He’s really tightening up his hitting zone with two strikes here. I love it. spoils a two- strike pitch and he’ll see another. Two down. Nobody on. And that one lifted in the air center field. Rodriguez right there to make the grab and that will end the inning. Orioles add one on the solo homer. It’s now 3 nothing. You’re dialed into the show. And we’re back. John Champi with Chris Singleton. And set to lead off the fourth, Randy. Rosarena. And the first offering a fast ball for a strike. Boo. Over 80% of his first pitches are strikes. You’re doing that, you could have a really good day out there on the mound. Out to center under it. Makes the catch for the owl. Now batting catcher Cal Raleigh. Cal Raleigh digs in now. He’s one of the best players in the game. Raleigh in his fourth year, 28 years old, and he was a third round pick back in 2018. And it’s fouled away. The Mariners still looking for their first hit in this one. way high. That’s ripped. Base hit. That ball was absolutely ripped. 111 off the bat. And I’m pretty sure it started to whistle after it left the bat. I think I heard that too, Boo. And these are the moments we appreciate when we can look at Statcast and just see exactly what the data is. Always so much fun to see what numbers pop up. Next to hit, Julio Rodriguez. Late swing fouled off. just missed. Now, this team is definitely looking for a big swing of the bat right here. Try to close that gap. But, you know, at the very least, if you could find a way to manufacture that run from first, it feels like it’s really important to getting back into this ball game. Come on, Orioles. Out in front. Rip foul. Raleigh the base runner at first with one out. Got him. Make it four strikeouts for him on the bump today. And now it’s Josh Naylor possibly thinking about home run number 100 here. He’s just one shy of that milestone. Sanker catches the zone at the knees. Next offering is in for a strike. Perhaps not quite ready to hit. First two pitches by him for a couple of strikes. Now back is against the wall. He’s going to have to figure something out and figure it out quickly. This one in the dirt. to second and he’s out. And he has thrown four shutout innings. Mariners go down quietly there. They trail it here. 3 nothing. Welcome back. And they turn to a new arm as we kick off the bottom of the fourth. Gabe Spire. Well, he’s been a really tough guy to take deep this season. You usually have to string some hits together in order to get to them. Now it’s the right fielder Ryan. Not singled and scored his first time. Not ripped right field. That’s back there. That one way back and it’s gone. His second of the year. It’s 4 nothing. [Applause] Welcome to the game. First pitch out of the bullpen, a tough one. And you know, he’s just trying to get one in there for a strike. And on the other side, as a hitter, it’s a great time to be aggressive and let it fly. It’s not what they were looking for when they turned to him. But now he’s got to find a way to reset. So digging in, Dylan Carlson, one for one with a single so far. And that one upstairs, ball one. You know, these Orioles doing a good job of putting the ball into play and that makes things more challenging on the defensive side. They’re hitting everything thrown at them. Their contact rate is in the low 90s. It’s like they know what’s coming and that’s just pretty ridiculous what they’re doing right now. Those numbers are well above the major league average. [Applause] Next offering is fouled back. Swing and a miss. Struck him out and that’s the first out. Nice recovery after giving up the homer. Here’s the center fielder. Struck out swinging his first time. left field. A Rosarena snags it. And there’s two down. Just pulled off of it a little bit right there. That front shoulder coming open instead of staying closed. If he does that, he’s going to be able to go up the middle the other way with some authority instead of a fly out to left. Man, he really sells the change up with that arm action and a swing and a miss there. Ahead 02 in the count. Sure, you’ve got four pitches you can work with, but throw something you can command and get this at bat over with as quickly as possible. drilled out towards left center field. Way back there and that one is going to go. He circles the bases. Second home run of the inning for him. And they add on. It’s five zip. That’s their third home run of the game. They’re having a lot of fun at the plate in this one. They’ve got the long ball working for them on autopilot. [Applause] That’s an impressive swing of the bat to go over the wall to the opposite field gap. And you know, there are a lot of guys that just don’t have the pop to do that and probably just as many who don’t have the approach either. He let that ball travel and he got great extension on the follow through to drive it out of here. Manager out of the dugout now and it looks like we’ll see a change on the mound. Gabe Spire gives way. We’ll be back in a minute with a new arm on the mound. [Applause] So out of the bullpen for the Mariners, Jackson Kowar hasn’t pitched in the last three days. Jackson Kar. [Music] So up next, Jordan Westber. All right. He swings and fouls one off. Base is empty. Two away, but two runs are in. We’re here in the bottom of the fourth. Outside with a breaking ball. Now a check swing at the 1-1. Look down to first. That’s a swing according to umpire Woody Keller. A change up missing and it’s two and two. got him looking. That’s a strike out. But two round tripers in this inning. The long ball was working and the lead is now 5 nothing. It’s Major League Baseball and it’s on the show. We go to the top of the fifth and now the first baseman Josh Naylor. Kramer back to work and that gets the top of the zone for a strike. Well, these Mariners, they’re not going to be happy with the at bats they’ve been having so far. Just one base runner to this point and it’s not exactly early anymore. They have guys in this lineup capable of sparking something, but it just hasn’t happened for them yet. That’s got him. He picks up his fifth strike out on the hill. Au Suarez up to the plate now. Grounded out his first time. Yeah, that’s fouled off. He’s controlling things out there on the mound. Not messing around at all. He’s been in attack mode since the very start. One down. Base is empty. That one fouled off. Foul ball still 0 and two. Gets a piece there. We’ll do it again. Pitch misses there. Yeah, the count one and two. fans another and that’s three straight strikeouts. [Applause] Next is the designated hitter Jorge Palano fly to left his first time. That catches the corner. swinging a foul out of play. Looking sharp just a strike away from five shut out innings. Two outs. Out of the ground to third and that’s just foul. That one the other way. He’s got it. And that is out number three. He continues to roll on the mound as five shutout innings are in the books. It’s the Orioles five and the Mariners nothing. Back here in Baltimore now it’s the shortstop. Gunner Henderson. Laser could be trouble around first and hustling for second. In safely, it’s a double and his second hit with that fast ball. Even though it’s high velocity, you’ve got to live on the outer edges. When it’s right on a tea, right down the middle, professional hitters are not going to have a problem turning it around. [Applause] Runner in scoring position, no outs. Adley Rutman the next to hit for the Orioles. A former first round pick and he’s really turned into a nice everyday player. And there’s a strike. Good heater at 98. You know, these Orioles, simply put, are producing a lot of quality swings. They have five extra base hits on the stat sheet so far, and that tells me they’re seeing the ball out of the pitcher hand really well. Let’s go. Hard hit left side. Crawford throws to first in time. And that’s the first out in the bottom of the fifth. Ryan Mount Castle the next to hit for the Orioles. He’s grounded out a couple of times. With all those extra base hits, it’s easy to think we’re going to see that trend continue the rest of the game. They seem to be really locked in at the plate. And a first pitch fast ball is in for a strike. And ball one. Swing and a miss. Now one and two. Henderson over at second. One down. on the ground right side and foul ball. Come on. Foul ball still a one and two count. Swang at a highf fly ball. Well struck. This one’s got a chance. Makes the catch on the edge of the track. Runner tags at second and he moves up to third. Now two away. Now batting first baseman Kobe Mayo. So, a man aboard, Kobe Mayo, the next to hit for the Orioles. Orioles. Baltimore. And first offering is fouled off. Fought off foul. Two outs with a runner at third. Swing and a miss. Struck him out. That’s out number three. One left for the Orioles, but they hold a five nothing lead. Top six. And now for Seattle, Dominic Canzone. And that’s downed away. Movement in the Orioles bullpen. Kate Strad, the rookie right-hander, is getting loose. Sigano also getting ready. Orio. That’s in for a strike. misses just off the outside edge. I think that was a strike. Hard grounder into the outfield for a knock. Man aboard on the leadoff single. Now batting short stop JP Crawford. Only two hits allowed so far tonight, Boog. So, I don’t think that one will disrupt his momentum all that much. You know, he’s really been on top of his game, commanding his pitches all night long. Man at first, nobody out. JP Crawford up next for the Mariners. Swings and blasts one deep to left center. And that one is off the wall. Coming home. He will score. Back-to-back base hits. When you see a ball come off the bat like that, you know, it was pretty much a perfect swing. And for me, you know, I start wondering and I’m looking on the computer, what was the exit velocity this time? 106. Brandon Hyde out of the dugout now and he’s ready to make a move to the bullpen. Dean Kramer done for the night and he’s responsible for the runner on second. So, the book isn’t closed on him yet. We’ll be right back. Tommoyuki Sigato takes over on the mound and he’s got a nice lead to work with. So, he should come in throwing strikes, attacking these hitters. Here’s the second baseman, Cole Young. Three pitch strikeout last time up. Got to put up more of a fight in this one. And immediately pumps in a strike to the left-handed hitter. Man at second. That one is upstairs. in the air to left center and out number one on the grab. Now batting leftielder Randy Arosena. Now it’s Randy Rosarena for two in this one. Base hit. Crawford around third. He’ll score easily. It’s 52. Now batting catcher. And now the catcher comes up to him. Cal Raleigh one for two. Sigano picks over. First pitch doesn’t find the zone. [Music] just missed. Oh, he’s really working him away this at bat. Sometimes take a little bit off velocity. Try to get a roll over something on the ground. Stay away from that big hole on the right side of the infield. That’s inside. Arosena over at first with one away. Outside ball four and that’ll bring the tying run to the plate. Well, interesting. He went with the off speed and walked the hitter. Man, you got to challenge the guy with the fast ball. Now the Orioles manager is out of the dugout and he’ll make a move to the pan. Tommoyuki Seagado won’t go any further tonight and the line not closed on him yet as he’s responsible for the runners on base. Back with a new pitcher after this. Year Canó on to try and close it out. He comes in with a chance for his second save of the season. Julio Rodriguez coming to the plate now in a big spot. Well, all eyes on the double play ball in this spot. No better way to get out of this inning. Runners at first and second with one gone. And another ball. Could be some action here on this next pitch. Couple runners on. Probably a challenge pitch coming. That one finds the corner and it’s two and one. Swinging a drive deep right field. Nota on the move heading back and it’s off the out of town scoreboard. A Rosarena flies around third. He’ll score. Well, that gets him a little closer in this one. He hit that ball really well to deep right field right there. Got a pitch to drive and just stayed through it nicely. didn’t quite have the trajectory to clear the fence, but you’re always happy with an extra base hit. Now, that sets up a huge atbat in this ball game. And next will be the cleanup hitter, Josh Naylor. And a first pitch fast ball is in for a strike. Second and third here. One away. One. One. Next pitch downstairs and a count. Two on one. It’s a big opportunity right here, but I love the way he’s slowing the game down. He’s shrinking his zone, making sure he gets the pitch that he wants to hit. So the tying run at second down and in. Moved his feet. Almost feel like he’s frustrated a little bit. He wants to be challenged. Fouls one away. And now three and two. down. Two on, one out. On the ground, Holiday fires to first in time. [Applause] Now that third base, Aueno Suarez. So, it’s their last chance in this one. Here’s the third baseman, Au Heno Suarez, trying to deliver as the hero. drilled in the air high and deep right field. That’s back there and that one’s gone into the bleachers. A two-run shot and now they’re out in front. It’s 65. Well, that swing changes things. Yes, it does. They were in striking distance and they found a way to fight back big time. A good hitter gets pitch recognition early. He saw exactly where that was going to be. The challenge, not get over anxious and come out of your swing. He stayed on it and got all of it. Manager out of the dugout and he’s going to make a change. Year Canó is done and he leaves in a one-run game. New pitcher coming on. We’ll be back in a minute. Now pitching. So, a new arm out of the bullpen for the Orioles number 86.6. Just trying to keep this one close here. And this is where a bullpen can give their players a chance to fight back into the game. So, two down and next is the designated hitter, Jorge Palano. Highf fly ball on that one. Curling foul down the right side. [Applause] That one inside and the count is one and one. One and one. Two down. Nobody swinging a ground ball and it goes just fouled. And that one missing inside. A sharp slider. Cut on and miss. Struck him out. That’ll end the inning after a lot of scoring. They bring nine to the plate and six come around to score. 789 do up in the home half of the inning. It’s the Mariners six and the Orioles five. Welcome back. And here comes the closer, Andres Munoz. And he’s done a great job keeping the ball in the park this year. The numbers stack up with some of the best in the game. Well, one-run game. Ryan Nota now at the plate. He’s already homerred in this game. Pitch misses there. One and0 [Applause] looking to get the tying run on base. check swing and he went and the count even one and one. Rolled softly but that goes foul. Breaking ball inside and the count is two and two. just off the outside edge. Well, he’s not afraid to fall into a two- strike count. Knows the strike zone very well. So much so that I think umpires will look at him and determine whether it’s a ball or strike if he swings or not. and stays alive. Popped up Crawford and it’s caught for the out. Now batting left fieldielder Dylan Carlson. Dylan Carlson getting ready to hit. That’s a strike across the top of the zone. And that’s outside and one and one. That was absolute gas. Triple digits on the gun. It’s just a different experience as a hitter watching that go by. Next offering in there for a strike. And that’s strike two. Really going after him here. All fast balls to get ahead in the count. And it’s fouled off. They’ll do it again. That wasn’t an easy pitch to hit. It’s much easier to do damage against mistakes, but that’s not what that pitch was. That misses off the outside edge. Man, oh man. I don’t know how you take that pitch. That’s as close as it gets. That’s down and in. A slider missed. Still just the second batter of the inning. And on the mound, he’s already thrown 13 pitches. They’ve got him working hard out there. [Applause] Foul. We’ll see another payoff pitch. up the middle. A sliding stop to first and it beats him. What a play. Oh, Boo. As an infielder, you have to be ready for anything. In that spot, it required going to the ground, getting a little dirty, and making a strong throw for the out. Great play. Orioles down to their final out. Digging in is the switch inning outfielder number 31. That one to first steps on the bag himself. Ball game. Well, when you reel off eight wins in a row, you’re this close to double digits. And now all of a sudden, it’s a challenge within a challenge to get two more wins to get to 10. But there’s definitely a high level of confidence that this team is playing at right now. And that’s one of those things you don’t want to rock the boat. You don’t want to disturb things. Make sure the clubhouse is giving you the same good food it’s been giving you all along and you can keep this win streak going. 65 the final here today for Chris Singleton and our entire crew here at MLB the show.
