We’re going to look at the Philadelphia Phillies visiting the Washington Nationals. The Phillies will be a big road favorite minus 200. The total sits at nine. Philadelphia is coming off back-to- back losses at Cincinnati by a combined score of 14-1. They send Jesus Lazardo to the mound today. He’s got decent numbers, 11 and5 with a 4.20 erra and a 1.35 whip. And those numbers are an indication that he’s benefited from some run support. Uh he’s 3-0 with a 4.40 whip in his last five starts. Nothing wrong with those numbers from Jesus Lazardo, but he’s not winning the many games. He’s just uh doing just enough to allow that offense to win the game for the Phillies. And that offense for the Phillies hasn’t been there in the last two games. And they’re hoping it returns here tonight in Washington. He’s three and six with a 3.28 ERA. 25year-old kid uh just out of the bullpen. He’s made 10 starts so far this season. He’s 1-1 with a 2.70 ERA in his last four starts. And just with the Phillies being in a little bit of a funk, losing those last two games by a wide margin, they they’ve got a five-game lead in the division. They had to travel last night, game one here in Washington. This Lord kid looks pretty good. I’ve won five straight on this channel. Maybe I’m letting my uh I’m starting to like my own smell too much, but we’re going to go with an underdog here. We’re going to take the Washington Nationals first five innings on the money line plus 165 and just hope that our man Brad Lord can outduel Jesus Lazardo in the first five innings.
