Going 2-4 to one of the worst teams in the history of baseball is unacceptable. I think the ownership should clean house, but it doesn’t sound like that’s going to happen.

  2. Ownership is part of (and the main cause) the problem for this though. They can’t “clean house” while maintaining their main goal as spending as little as possible to make as much money as possible

  5. I had a pyrrhic victory where I texted my Cubs-loving coworker asking how it felt to lose a series to a team who almost got swept by the Rockies.

  6. when my Marlins lost the series to them, we went on a tear. Rockies might be Good Luck Chuck.

    Other than Sonny Gray, you never really know what the starters will give you on any given day.

  10. The Cardinals are also one of the worst teams in baseball this year. Outside of a single stretch where they were kind of good they have been flat out inconsistent and bad.

  12. It’ll be a fun trivia question in the future when asked, ” What team did the Colorado Rockies have the best winning % against during their MLB Record setting worst season of all time?”

  16. I don’t want to see anyone on this sub say how we still have a chance to make the playoffs and we shouldn’t give up yet.

  17. It’s frustrating but let’s not forget they went 4-2 against the Dodgers this season. Since we’re cherry picking stats.

    The front office was clear from the start that winning and making the playoffs was not the goal this year. The fact the team is hovering around .500 and somehow near the third wild card spot is a bonus for us. I would caution getting too upset about this as it’s not worth it.

  21. Watch them miss the playoffs by 2 games and our record against the Rockies this season is 2-4.. that would be about right

  25. Just my not so favorite cherry picked stat from the season… over 10% of the Rockies wins have come from the Cardinals. And we don’t play in the same division. Funny how that works

  26. This makes 2 years in a row the Cardinals have lost 2 out of 3 at home to a team that will lose around 120 games. That says all you really need to know about this bunch of role players.

  27. Imagine being a cards fan in denver.. worst team ever keeps beating us. Cant even goto the bar cause a dodgers fan there loves to rub it in.

  30. How do you win the Dodgers and Cubs series and then immediately crap the bed against the worst team in baseball at home…
