Since the 2020 season we’ve been to a World Series and 4 straight postseasons (2020-2023). We’ve had 2 home run derby finalists, a batting title winner, and several non-obligatory all stars.
The rays have been a great team to watch outside of the postseason runs after 2020 and these last couple years.
Does woeful come before true misery..or vice versa?
Having a sports team to go to a final (sometimes multiple finals) and not win one is just about worse than never going to one in my opinion. You had the hope just to lose it all and still not have a title. Even though these franchises are still relatively new, it’s an impressive accomplishment but still sad nonetheless.
