Arias coming home with the throw , It’s a good one and they got him at the dish, the ball got away. They call him safe and two runs are going to score what looked like out. Number two results in two runs for Miami. The out is waved off and it ends up being two runs on an air by austin Hedges. Now the 22 to Mary who had the seven RBIs last night and he takes a fastball for strike three. So pretty good job by Tanner really should have got out of here giving up one run. Edward cabrera is on the hill for the Marlins tonight and Cy is coming off the best start maybe of his career. It came in Atlanta. He got a win eight innings, two hits one run. It came in a solo homer, one walk and 11 punchouts. 11 strikeouts was one shy of his career high and with runners at 1st and 3rd and nobody out and immediate pressure on cabrera runners at the corners for an MVP candidate Jose ramirez There goes on, he had a great jump and Jose with a base hit right center scoring is, and it’s 3 to 1 as the Guardians come up with three straight singles to start tonight against Cabrera and Kyle Nardo to the plate over the last 20 games since the all star break hitting 344. There goes Ramirez going to take it throw to second and Jose stole it standing up a it could tie it. Now, Manzo chase one in the dirt coming home to score is a Martinez down to third goes ramirez. The count is 0 to 2 on Manzo and just like that, it’s a one run game. Manzo trying to get Hosey home to tie the game is cut on in miss change up off the plate away and a three pitch punch out gets Cy in the out column tying run at third one out. First inning. Here’s Gabrielle arias broken bat bouncer up the middle that will tie the game. Arias picks up number 44. It’s 33 in the first. Here is stephen Kwan singled and scored and that one hit in the year out to shallow right field. Hernandez working towards the line into foul ground on that rubber track. He reaches up and he makes the catch, he saves it from the netting right along that low padded wall down the right field line in foul territory. Eriberto Hernandez makes a really nice snag 33 as we go to the third. Cabrera allowed three runs in the first in the second one. Two is cut on and missed good changeup. Fading away from Martinez at 95. Back to back two out walks by Cabrera here in the third and here comes Kafa two on two. Men go 12, check swing and a pitch in the dirt K did go around and that ends the inning. A punch out for Cabrera for the Marlins 45 and six hitters due up liam Hicks, Otto Lopez and Jacob Marcy. It is off the end of the bat into center field down for a base hit. Third hit of the series for Liam Hicks chopper to third. That’s a fair ball grab by Ramirez to first. Not in time, ramirez was lucky to even get to it. A productive out for the Marlins who are threatening to take the lead once again and on the corners with one away. Now for hernandez line drive up the middle into center field for a base hit. Roo couldn’t pick it and the Marlins do indeed retake the lead. It’s 4 to 3, give Tanner Bay a break here and now the bases are loaded. Top of the lineup. Xavier Edwards will step in after babe issues his second walk on the night swung on and there’s a fly ball to center Martinez. He makes the catch and Bobby works out of it without further damage. Edward Cabrera in the home half of the fourth inning working with the lead again. Hits one high in the air right center field pretty deep Hernandez on the move back to the track at the wall, makes the catch right at the wall dead sprint to get there in right center. The deepest part of this ballpark and Hernandez covered a ton of ground. He made the catch with both feet on the warning track. Quan works a walk to open the fifth inning, first base open with one out off the bag at second. Here’s the pitch swung on that line, left side base hit beyond the reach of the shortstop, Lopez Quan had to make sure it would clear but ramirez with a base hit, put runners on the corners job done. He got him to third base and now it’s up to kyle Manzo to try and get him home second on the night and now it’s 2nd and 3rd. Both runners in scoring position. Now the tying and go ahead runs. There’s a line drive base hit that will get at least one. Jose get a stop sign. He’ll go back to third. Ramirez holds at third but Manzo ties the game that leadoff walk comes around the Hawk Cabrera and now Gabriel Arias steps in, swung on line right side coming on, making the catch is hernandez, but that will score ramirez on the sac fly and the Guardians move in front for the first time tonight. It’s 5 to 4. Cleveland 5 to 4. Cleveland Ramirez BZ arias and a liner to right center Hernandez misplayed it and Jose never broke stride. He’s into second base. He’s running hard out of the box. Always thinking, take another base and smash to third. What a quality at bat Bazardo gets the runner to third challenge one by Stephen Vogt hit by pitch. Puts arias aboard. Here’s CJ Kafa short home not in time. Jose Ramirez scores for the third time tonight and that gives the Guardians a two run lead. The runners at the corners. Arias at third Kafa at 1st 6 to 4. Cleveland infield in David Fry, the batter and Fry with a base hit left field that will bring home. Arias is headed for third and he’s in there safely. So David Fry with his 13th run batted in in his last 13 games. Rochel batting left handed, Fry takes off and Roo lines it into right field Jones scores and here we go again. And it’s another 1st and 3rd opportunity. This one all of a sudden feeling like it’s just about out of reach. Now, Austin hedges and the 0 to 2 is hit to center field, the center fielder falls down and he recovers in time to make the catch tagging at third and coming home to score is, and that makes it nine for Cleveland. There’s nobody on and two out after back to back base hits by Edwards and Sts and a walk by Ramirez. The bases are loaded for liam Hicks and so stephen Vo will go to Kate Smith looking for one out. Kate smith with a 9 to 4 lead facing liam Hicks. Bases loaded two down in the ninth swung on line to short cut by arias ball game. Cleveland gets another series win and the Guardians are a half game back of the Yankees for the third and final wild card spot.
