Tyler Linderbaum Explains Why the Ravens Don’t Have Contract Drama | Baltimore Ravens Final Drive
[Music] It’s clockwork during training camp for NFL players entering contract years to get questions from media about their mindsets on their contract situations with their teams. We’ve seen it across the league with players holding out, holding in. But at the Ravens, when asked, Travis Jones, Tyler Linderbomb, Adoway, and other Ravens in contract years have emphasized wanting to have strong years on the field, put forth their best tape to help the team win and let the rest take care of itself. Leerbomb sat down with the Lounge podcast to preview the season, and shared his take on why the Ravens have avoided dramatic contract situations for their top talent. All around the league, you’re just constantly hearing about these guys who are holding in, holding out, whatever. you know, going in front of reporters like us and and saying, “Yeah, I just want to be paid barely whatever.” Like, there’s been none of that here. Yeah. Why is that? I think it’s just the the guys we have in the locker room like I just talked about, you know, the characters. Um, you know, just, you know, for if you want to get the team to where it needs to go, I think you need, you know, to have everyone there in the building practicing and, you know, stacking days and working towards your goal. And I think we have a lot of like-minded guys like that working on the craft and trying to get better and you know trying not to be a distraction for the team. General manager Eric Tasta has consistently emphasized the Ravens desire to keep their young talent. During the off season the team breached extensions with two key offensive pieces, receiver Rashad Baitman and running back Derk Henry. In May, Dcasta made a statement that his intention was for two-time Pro Bowler Linderbomb to remain a Raven long term. That full podcast with Tyler Linderbomb is available wherever you get your podcast and to watch on our YouTube channel. The team heads to Dallas today for this weekend’s preseason game versus the Cowboys. We’ll be back with you tomorrow. [Music]
Center Tyler Linderbaum is one of several Ravens entering contract years or eligible for an extension. He explains why that hasn’t been a distraction this summer.

Nice
Go ravens!
Having flashbacks to two years ago when the Lamar drama was tops in the NFL. π€£π€£
So Lamar didn't have contract drama
Lamars' contract was just media drama, not team drama!
I like Tyler Linderbaum I was a as a ravensπ¦ββ¬π€π
Its our year we already know this team will look very different next year.
Letβs go
R.A.V.E.N.S Ravens π€ππ€ππ€π
Ask Patrick Queen and a couple RBs.
Granted, less drama, but always some.
This interview shows how massive NFL players are compared to average size people.
Spoiler Alert: It's going to come down to Travis Jones or Tyler Linderbaum for an extension.
Final Drive Cassie > The Show Cassie. This is such a better use of her talents.
I'm, he wasn't here when the Ravens colluded with other teams against Lamar…the decision just came out but was kept relatively quiet…they plan to do the same with him again…Allen and Burrow just got new contracts with no problem but Lamar gas to go through all the Ravens' bs.
We need more extensions before season starts Linderbaum, Hamilton, Ricard, Likely! Hopefully we get 2-3 wrapped up asap
I'd love to see lamar as more of a vocal leader, but it's all good
Extend my boy buford for 10 years 200m π
Am I the only one that can hear how much more confident Linderbaum sounds just casually talking compared to a few years ago
