Zach Greinke’s first win. Wasn’t fortunate enough to get to go to any of the playoff games.
Cueto World Series 2-hitter
I was at every home playoff game and every world series game home and away in 14 and 15. But my answer is still the wildcard game. I don’t think its possible to top the emotion there.
Was at every other answer submitted so far as well. Not a single weak answer yet.
I’ve shared the video in a previous post but I never pass on a chance to mention it…my first in-person game ended with an inside the park home run by Amos Otis. Couldn’t have scripted it better.
5 – 2015 ALDS Game 5, Kendrys Morales home run
4 – 2015 ALCS Game 6, final out
3 – 2014 ALCS Game 4, final out
1a – 2015 WS Game 1, Gordo home run
1b – Wild Card game
HM: Sept 24, 2015, clinching the ALC vs the Mariners
I’m pretty laid back during regular season games (unless they’re against a team I hate; Cardinals, Yankees, etc.) but the playoffs were a different beast. I wanted to stress-eat the rally towel in like every game in 2015.
I watched them score 10 runs on the Yankees in an inning. In Yankee Stadium. It was so satisfying.
Royals related probably Bobby hitting a homerun at Yankee Stadium earlier this season, baseball wise seeing Trea Turner hitting a grand slam at Phillies Stadium w the bell ringing —sadly not from Kansas-
Jorge Orta beating out a ground ball in the bottom of the ninth of game six of the 1985 World Series.
The 9th inning comeback against the White Sox (Brett Eibners walk off single)
best i can do is vinnie’s first career triple which scored 3 runs against the a’s last year
2015 world series game 1, Alex Gordon hits a game tying homer in the 9th, we went nuts!
Top for me is 2015 ALCS Game 6. But a very close second is the pride I had in my city during the home run derby and how loud we got which absolutely rattled Robinson Cano.
I got to sit just to and the right of Bobby’s first 30-30. That was probably the best game I’ve been to. Before that getting to see Mark Teahen’s in the park home run solidified me as a baseball fan.
2015 ALCS game 1. Me and my dad found tickets like two and half hours before the game in section 130, right next to metal fencing that separate the crown club for like $150 a piece.
Watching Volquez dismantle the Blue Jays was just an added bonus.
West Coast Royals fan. Game 2 2014 vs Angels. Moose HR. I jumped on the guy next to me (Another Royals fan who I didn’t know) Second is GB5 hitting a double in his last at bat in Seattle where I watched so many Royals games growing up. So a personal end of an era highlight for me. The Seattle crowd gave him a standing O
Escobar beating a rundown and scoring on a double steal v Guardians September 2013
We were there for the royals clinching the AL Central in 2015. My wife was pregnant and we had just found out it was a boy (now 9 years old). Fucking great day.
Playoff game at home against the Blue Jays. For me it was seeing the K completely full of fans we were at the very top and the place was rocking like we were at a chiefs game and to top it off with a win.
Only down side was the up charge on beer.
George Brett’s last game in Kc, there was also a triple play in that game.

I was at this game. About 11 at the time.
Wild Card game and it’s not even close
