I believe both these teams are are off on Thursday. Yes, they are. I’m recording this Thursday. Both these teams have a nice little day off. We saw the New York Yankees win a series against the Twins. A much needed win uh winning series for the Yankees there. Uh they were skdding a little bit before that series. So, we’ll see if they’re able to carry that momentum um moving forward because let’s be real, guys. There’s a lot of teams in the AL that are right on the Yankees heels. Um they cannot get comfortable. It’s going to get interesting down the stretch in the AL. That’s for damn sure. And then the Cardinals are coming off a weird series against the Rockies. Just going to really get things going. Lost that lost that series two games to one. They damn near almost got swept. Um, if you guys were keeping track of that Cardinals Rockies game one where the Cardinals won uh three to two, you know, the Rockies were up late in that game and I believe the Cardinals had uh I think they scored two runs in the bottom of the eighth to to take the lead. So, they were this close to getting swept by the Colorado Rockies. And I don’t love that for the Cardinals. You know, I’m not going to say the Cardinals are playing bad ball. You know, we saw them win a series against the Cubs. They actually won a series against the Dodgers, too, um, in their in their last, you know, few series. So, I’m not going to say they’re playing bad ball, but I didn’t love how they looked in that Rocky series. I I really didn’t. And, you know, I think they could struggle in the series going against this Yankees team that is coming in with some momentum finally. This is a Yankees team that they’re either hot or they’re cold. And they’re kind of a team I want to back after a nice winning series against the Twins. They are going with Luis Hill on the mound. You know, he has been he’s only had two starts this season. Um, he gave up three earn in his first start against the Marlins and then gave up what? Sorry, no, he gave up five earn in his start against the Marlins and gave up two earn against his start in the against the Astros. So, you know, he cleaned things up a little bit against the Astros, but that first start was a little bit concerning. I think he does have some success here, though. You know, this is a Cardinal scene that did not look great this week against the Rockies, especially when it came to a hitting perspective. If the Rocky’s pitching staff could limit the Cardinals, I think the Yankees pitching staff can as well. On the other hand, you got Louis uh Andre Palante on the mound. It hasn’t been pretty for him as of late. I mean, he’s given up five or more runs in three of his last four starts. He has a 1 and4 record in his last f five starts and a 694 RA in his last five starts as well. This is a spot I want to back Luis Hill and the Yankees. I’m I’m going to be on the Yankees in this game. You know, this is a big series for the Yankees. If they if they lose this series, I’m telling you, it’s going to get ugly. There’s teams right on their heels, like the Rangers, like the Royals. Don’t sleep. Don’t sleep. Um, but I do think the Yankees have a good series here. So, I’m going to back Luis Hill to have a nice little bounceback start. I’m going to keep fading Andre Palante. And I think we see I think we see the Yankees have a nice series here.
