What is going on guys? Brad here from pits.com and I got a pick in this Marlins versus Red Sox game going down on Friday, August 15, 2025. You’ll find all my plays there. Let’s get into this one, guys. We got game one of this series between the Marlins and the Red Sox. The Marlins are actually finishing up a series against the Guardians on Thursday. I’m recording this before that that game starts, so I don’t know what the result of that one will be. And then the Boston Red Sox just finished a series against the Astros. So they will have a day off on Thursday whereas the Marlins will have a game on Thursday. You know, the Red Sox were hot as hell for a second there. They were looking really good, but we saw them go into San Diego, lose that series two games to one, and then they went into Houston this week and lost that series two games to one as well. So, we’re kind of seeing this Boston Red Sox team come down to earth a little bit. And then the Marlins, you know, the Marlins were a team that was hot. They were a great road dog. Then they went into Atlanta, had a really bad series there, but we saw them pick up a game two win against Cleveland this week and we’ll see. You know, they I think they have a good shot winning game three against Cleveland on Thursday with Edward Herber on the mound. So, you know, coming into that Guardian series, I was like, I kind of want to jump off this Marlins road train. I feel like it’s just not sustain sustainable. I don’t think it’s going to last forever. But, you know, after watching them in that game two um against the Guardians putting up 13 runs and winning that one, hey, maybe maybe the Marlins are a team we could continue to look at. Unfortunately for them, they have Sandy Alcantara on the mound. And Sandy Alcantara, it’s been a nightmare season for him. You know, we have seen some progress as the season has gone on. But, I mean, when you look at his his splits here, 509 RA at home, which isn’t great, but when he goes on the road, his erra jumps to a 887. I still can’t trust San Die on the road, guys. I I just can’t do it, especially in a ballpark like Finway. I could see the Red Sox getting after him pretty early in this game. And then you got Lucas Gilito on the mouth for the Red Sox. And Lucas Gilo um has kind of been the opposite of Sandy. You know, Lucas Gilo has actually been better on the road and he’s struggled a little bit at home this season. So, I don’t really love the spot for either e either of these pitchers. I really don’t love this spot for either of these teams. I’m gonna take an over. I’m gonna take an over. On one end, I I would lean Red Sox just because how bad Sandy has been on the road. But at the same time, like I like I said in the beginning of the video, this Marlin team has just been such a good road dog this season. So that kind of makes me a little bit weary about taking Boston. I just think this is a spot. Let’s fade both these starters. They’ve been terrible in these positions all season long. It’s going to be a nice day in Boston. Finway Park. I think we see some runs here, guys. So I’m going to be on the over in this game. I appreciate you watching this. Drop a like.
