The SCARIEST Part About The Brewers π³ #milb #shorts
The Brewers have a blessing or a curse depending on how you look at it at the shortstop position currently. Luis PΓ±ena, Cooper Pratt, Jesus Mate, I just named you three of the top four prospects in Milwaukee’s system. Yeah, those three names I just listed, they all play shortstop. That means either somebody has to move to a different position or when it comes time for a trade, Milwaukee finds somebody else who needs a shortstop because they have four who are surging or are already there from a talent perspective.
The Milwaukee Brewers are the best team in baseball right now, and thatβs with them having a lot jam at shortstop. Follow us for minor league baseball updates!

"Too many shortstops" is a great problem to have because shortstops have the range to play second and the arm to play third base. You can even stick one in the outfield.
Generally almost all INF prospect get drafted as a SS because if they can play at SS they can play anywhere in the INF.
Guys who are drafted/signed as shortstops very rarely come up as them. Chourio signed as a shortstop, Turang was drafted as a shortstop, Isaac Collins was drafted as a shortstop.
