Damn
Not great Bob
Did not like.
2nd and 3rd w no outs and not scoring is especially frustrating when losing a one run game
Was the result ever really in doubt after the first inning? We were always relying on the Yankees making errors or their bullpen shitting the bed
That game tasted like a shot of Malort
At this point you can’t blame fans one bit for not going to games just looking at your starting rotation by itself. It’s either Sonny Gray, a 50/50 chance of a decent game, or a complete non competitive waste of time. You have a 20% chance of watching a game that’s not already lost on paper
And it’s a shame we’re stuck with this because, for like the 5th straight season, the Cardinals could not develop adequate pitching depth in the minors. Even with injury you gotta have more than Quinn Mathews having a bad year for his standards. And we’ll have 2 starting rotation spots to fill. Great job everybody
Reds lost and Mets lost…..

You have to give credit to us clawing back, but the RISP with less than one out is really where the crickets come into play.
Plus, the umpire was just d-riding the Yankees all night long, especially in the ninth inning.

I got two Chris Carpenter bobbleheads so not a complete loss🤷♂️
