Angels vs. A’s Game Highlights (8/15/25) | MLB Highlights

The Friday night fun begin. It’s players weekend here at the ballpark in West Sacramento where the Los Angeles Angels come to town for the first of three Angels Club has had the A’s number all season long. They have not lost the game against the Green and gold in 2025. You see Jack Beef Perkins taking the field 88 degrees, 13 mile per hour wins. The we in their home whites and hoping to get a win against the Angels club that has had their number all season long first pitch and that is lined to left , makes the catch and we are underway one pitch and one out for Jack Perkins. 32 swing and a Miss Perkins gets his first strikeout in the second out of the inning slide. He got some hair on it and a four pitch walk to out walk for Trout brings up Taylor Ward who has been a pest against the athletics over the last few years. Swing and a Miss Perkins strikes out picks up a pair of K’s and faces four hitters. Let’s introduce you to the South Paw. Give me the last you say Kuchi 26 start of the season. Having a fine go here in the 2025 campaign face a red hot hitter at the top of the order. Shay langeliers has hit 12 home runs since the all star break. That’s the most in the American League. A lot of power at the top of the order with langeliers Rooker and Kurtz one two high fly ball to right center field, you can spot that’s an opposite field homer for lang his 13th home run since the break. How about the snag a backhand job right there? That’s why you bring your glove folks top of the second. It’s one nothing. A Joan Moncada leads it off for the Angels as Moncada flips one to left field shallow blade, got a late jump and he won’t get. There has had some struggles wherever they put him in the outfield and a late break on that helps Moncada get a base hit. There goes the multi color bat now he’s got to use a regular one. He said bye bye. Now the regular bat is back in that colorful bat didn’t last long. Pat. What do you have when that bat broke the entire dugout groaned. Everybody was like, oh no, it was pretty awesome. Two balls, two strikes as Adle has one over his head, go to the back and now Malta is at second base after wild pitched by Perkins bounced up the middle that won’t move the runner over her plays it to first to retire Joe Adle one out and still at second. Here’s travis Darna. Not too wild of a design on his , don’t know, might be something on the barrel though. We just hope it a baseball fly ball to right center here by Darna. It’s back, Thomas with the wall and it’s off the top of that fence and bounces back to center coming in to score. It’s Travis D doubling off the wall in right center and the game at one, I thought that baseball was gone pretty close to being out, that’s for sure. Good. Swing back to back baseball hit three MPH that no thought he got it. Really mckyer. It’s like somebody gave, you know, wet Willie. Oh, I believe it’s stuck in his ear. The earpiece is stuck in Willie mcivor’s ear right right there, stuck right in there. I’m not sure yet. He’s having a tough time. Jeff Collins right now going full instrumental here. This is incredible fa digging, digging and we got it. We got it, Willie Mason. Thank you, man. So the Angels go down 123 and five strikeouts so far in this ball game for Perkins against the 1st 12 that he’s faced Rooker with the best Ops ever against the Angels. A lot of current players on that list, 11 line down the left field line there into the corner. Rooker will take a turn around first pull into second base with a leadoff double. We’re starting to see this lineup and have seen this lineup. Chris, I think continually do a really nice job of picking out pitches that they’re comfortable with putting a great swing on Kurt’s fighting two, two line. The other way that’s going to drop down for a hit, a single for Kurtz backs up the Rooker leadoff double and here comes Crank for a second time. Colby Thomas, he has gone by the nickname Crank for players. Weekend pitching to left it up. Baseball that breaking ball stood absolutely no chance. And Craig gets his second homer of his major league career in his first at home. It’s four to one that is inside and that is a four pitch walk. So is on flied out to left his first time. The Professor Chaos bat on display for Netto and the batting gloves. Zack who’s next home run will give him back to back 2020 years. Only mike Trout and Don Baylor have had consecutive 2020 seasons for the Angels. That ball is rocketed way back to left. Welcome back to the 2020 club. Zack, talk about getting a cutter in the middle of Clayton doing some serious damage. Professor Chaos, good rotation. Connor Brogden also entering the game right handed pitcher out to face the A’s first baseman nick Kurtz who is one for two with a single and a run scored 3 to 2 pitch. Hammer down the right field line , he pulled that baseball into the corner over to get it is Adele Kurtz stops at second base with a leadoff double. Well, that’ll get you going here in the fifth leadoff double on a changeup. See if the A’s and Big Amish can turn up a little offense here. Ellen’s having a better night at the plate so far than Colby Thomas who has a single and a three run home run in the air shallow right long way to go. Adele, he’s still Kurtz to third. Thomas gets a bloop single and the A’s have him on the corners with nobody out. Now, the A’s an opportunity to try to open up the scoring here right center Teodosio coming on and on the run, he dives and makes the catch but it will be more than enough to bring home. An A’s run. Hernes has sacrifice fly great play by the Angels. Center fielder gets the first out, but it’s a 5 to 3 advantage. So this is an inning that has been prolonged with two outs thanks to a base hit and a walk. It’s Tyler Soderstrom grabbing a bat. He’s on a 13 game hitting streak right now and he grounds it the other way. Tough play for Soderstrom beats it out. Everybody is safe. The run scores the A LA 63. He is trying to get that four run lead. That’s something that Tony La Russi used to talk about a lot that he would sacrifice for how to move runners. And if you can get, you can get up by four, you know that it would take a grand slam to tie you. Here’s Langel’s line drive into left field of base hit Iar has given Harris the windmill home and he will easily come home to score. Good read by ear. He saw the way that Ward played the baseball and trusted Harris’s speed on the base paths to score the seventh run. It’s a 7 to 3 game. Now, a softly lined baseball might have been a busted bat as well. Back to back hits. Now, 1st and 2nd and the big homage coming up left center field and deep Teodosio gone 10. Yeah. Is 20 and it is a seven run advantage for the athletics. Take a bow courtesy. It is up to Teodosio 12 pitch. Bring the Angels back down to earth with a 10 to 3 victory. Great job by Jack Perkins on the mound. But how about this athletics offense? We’re talking power, we’re talking patience. We’re talking from top to bottom a job well done tonight against a tough left hander in Hucci.
