Anthony Morrow says OKC was his favorite NBA city to play for: “Oklahoma City… I was so happy, because at that time, I had settled down, then we had kids, family… Oklahoma City was the perfect place for me at that time… They treat everybody like they are Michael Jackson, in the community”

  1. Reminds how badly Presti fucked that KD era

I like morrow but man they had some fucking role players over the years.

Roberson waiters kanter. young Reggie jackson. Sefolosha . Kevin martin

Presti managed to miss on every 3 and D player during the KD era haa

They really had kanter as their only vet on bench on a team with fucking adams ibaka kd. And no 3 and Ds

If Presti hit on one theyd have won titles.

  2. Players never seem to have anything negative to say about their time there

wonder what the worst cities/organizations are

  3. don’t get me wrong, it’s awesome that these cities show that much love to their teams. but goddamn people charge these mofos, they’re making millions and eating for free? I can’t even be mad though

  4. All I got to say that I was glad to hear that.

It’s nice to hear that there are cities and organizations like that.

  5. I used to drop like 40 a game with this guy in 2k and my older brother would get so mad lmao

  6. OKC is honestly an underrated city. It has most things you’d ask for in a city (especially with the recent downtown improvements) and is very affordable compared to most of the rest of the country.

  7. Here’s my Anthony Morrow story.

I knew a guy who worked at Suite Nightclub in Charlotte.  Late one night Anthony and his crew show up.  They had been bar hopping and were pretty drunk.  They also were wearing baseball hats, jerseys, and sneakers… so my friend turned them away because they didn’t fit the dress code. Morrow starts throwing a fit.  He claims racism.  He makes social media posts about it.  Then he says he and his boys will be waiting for my friend after the club closes.  Did I mention my friend is a tall bald headed black man?  I don’t know how drunk Morrow was, but claiming racism against another black man was an interesting tactic.

  8. I agree that they are the best or one of the best ran organizations in the nba, you have to be when you are know as truck stop town. Sam prestigio is a boss

  9. Ive been dying to hear from anthony morrow. Bout time someone had him on a podcast… /s

  10. After I graduated college, I took my first real job in OKC, its definitely boring but the people are amazing and they go out of their way to feel welcome. im from Michigan but went to HS in Georgia and it was a similar thing. when I moved to the neighborhood every neighbor brought pies and other treats to welcome you. first time I felt like I was part of the community. same in OKC. I can see why players like it there.

  11. We recently saw an episode of House Hunters where they were looking at places outside of OKC. It was horrible. I wouldn’t let my dogs live there

  12. They better

Imaging acting like a New York or LA fan with toxicity and you look around at farms

  13. I used to follow some OKC players on snapchat and just sent a simply supporting message to them once, Anthony Morrow was the only one who responded and said thanks

Not that I would expect them to respond at all, but it was just cool to have happen
