They just acquired him. Actually, we’re not going to see Baker Mayfield. I I suspect tonight Bucky Irv Irving is in the back field and he gets the handoff trying to spin away from tackle. He’s going to end up losing yardage as a result. The second effort did not work well. Juan Thornnehill comes up and he had a big hit last week and he comes up and diagnoses that thing beautifully and they love what he’s doing on the backside. Last week he had one tackle, 29 on the season, but here he is understanding where the cut back is happening and he cuts off the defender right there. Beautiful play by Thornhill. and Mecca Ibuka’s in the game. Their number one pick out of Ohio State along with Jaylen McMillan who’s been very good as a third round pick last year. That’s a 5y penalty. Second down. That’s on Charlie Hec, the backup left tackle to the one and only Tristan Worse, who won’t play tonight. But man, he’s you talk about left tackles, Charlie. He got a 5year $140 million deal. He was the first guy in NFL history to be named allp pro at both left and right tackles. Tristan Worse. Very tough to do. Congratulations to him. And he’s coming back from that injury we talked about and the rehab that followed and he’d be great to add to that interior of the defense. Just we saw the change of direction last week against Jacksonville with one tackle last week, but here he is right here reading and understanding the run assignment and he burst through that hole making that tackle. Great to see him back on that field. He’s confident. We understand exactly where he’s at. No ill effects from the injuries a couple years ago. Got to admire what he went through and how he’s responded to it. The fifth round pick by Washington back in 2019. He suffered that injury a year and a half ago and he’s finally back at it.
