The Bucks were 16 and three when Giannis had eight or more assists. Wow. Giannis on any night could still be the best in the world, but he had I think like 10 plus assists in every single game that he was the centerpiece of the offense. Just cuz he’s 30 and he’ll be 31 next season, it doesn’t mean that he is done getting better. Drew Hanland said to me one of the reasons why Giannis reached out to him was because he felt like having a jumper would help him conserve energy and be healthy during the postseason. There’s certainly a chance we could see like the best version of Giannis under Dmpo this season considering the improvements he’s made as a mid-range shooter, considering what he can become and has become as a playmaker as well.
