It’s just sad
Cardinals having 61 wins with this starting rotation might be an (over)achievement in itself.
Pitiful stuff.
I’m at the point where I just like to see who’s progressing and likely to take a step forward next year. With that in mind don’t look now but Pages has been our best hitter this month with a 7 game hitting streak and an OPS over 1.000.
Walker had a good day at the plate hitting 3 rockets with the lowest xBA of the three being .480
Granillo looked solid. I’m really hoping he gets his footing and becomes one of our go to middle relievers next year.
Edit- forgot to mention Gorman. 1-3 with a hr and a walk is a nice day at the plate. He’s been solid since June but not really enough to get excited about. I really hope that changes with this extended playing time he’s getting lately.
The pain continues
If they don’t add JJ Wetherholt to the roster in September it will be a huge miss. Get the kid some big league experience. It will help him going into 2026.
