Cooper Rush: ‘It Was Cool Just to Be Back’ | Baltimore Ravens

get more than four attempts this week, I would imagine, than than last week. Yeah, it’s a lot of fun to get out there like kind of like coach said, you get in a rhythm uh because there’s going to be good plays and bad plays in a game and so when you get back out there and get to kind of get in a rhythm, play ball um because you do learn in game two, kind of get a feel for the defense, things like that. And uh so yeah, a lot of fun. Felt good. We got I think over 50 plays. It’s pretty sweet. You said that you want to prove to your team that you’re doing well. Um how much do you feel like you proved tonight? Uh, I thought, you know, just ball control, a lot of completions, um, keeping the defense off the field. We were really good on third down, uh, you know, that type of stuff. And then, you got to make the plays when they’re there. Missed one, uh, scrambled TD, but, um, had another one there. So, bounce back after negative plays. Um, I just like how the guys together, you know, just kept playing ball tonight. Yeah, obviously had a good connection with Tez tonight. Uh how much has working with him in practice been building that chemistry, you know, over the last few months? Yeah, TZ has tons of potential, man. He uh he can really run. Um it’s fun working with him. Uh just keep building his confidence, give him the ball tonight. He was he was sharp. He was where he was supposed to be when he needed to be and he made the plays. He really get third down catch. Um you know, a couple good ones in zone, low catch on a on a hook route. Um coming back to the ball. So it showed some um big signs. Cory Bulock has worked his way up the depth chart. What was it like working with him tonight? Yeah, Cory’s fantastic. I mean, that guy, he runs the show. And, you know, especially with young centers, usually with that two group, just I tell those guys, just run the show. You know, being a center, that’s your job. And he, I mean, he’s very smart, knows what’s going on, getting everyone going. Um, I think he leads to how we kind of played tonight in rhythm, running the go, guys are going to the right places, things like that. That’s all Cory. So, uh, really fun to be around. Good player, ask questions. He I mean, he he’s all about it. Did it mean more playing this well against the Cowboys? No, but it was it was cool just to be back, you know, a lot of lot of similar sight lines, you know, throws and things like that. It was uh it was cool to be back, see a lot of old teammates. Uh like I said before, you know, it was a good eight years.
