Rewatched the 2022 Divisional: We dominated the Bills in the trenches with this O-Line
August 17, 2025
This is actually crazy to look back on. After late season injuries to La'el Collins, Cappa and Jonah Williams, this is the starting O-Line that proceeded to dominate the Bills during the 2022 Divisional. No idea how we pulled this off.

Jackson Carmen, the bum with off field issues. What a terrible 2nd round pick
well it definitely helped having Joe Mixon pop off
Bring me back to this time🥹
I remember this because after this complete domination I thought our o line would hold up well against the Chiefs. Boy was I wrong
Have to think the field was a little slippery or something
Playing with a lead and running the ball well is a good recipe.
The defense was on fire that entire run. Lou’s halftime adjustments were legendary.
Snow
Arguably my favorite game to watch the condensed version of in franchise history. Just domination.
Snow game, it is very difficult to bend when the ground is slick. They were also hurt at edge. All in all, it was just a perfect storm.
Thank God for that snow, saved that Oline
We pulled it off cause I was wearing my lucky socks that day 🔥✌️
Total domination and unexpected domination in the trenches. I did not have Jackson Carman having his only really great performance with the Bengals in this game. Ted Karras if I remember was also playing with an mcl injury. I can’t remember if it was in this game or the AFC championship where he got hurt. Burrow’s degree of difficulty he has with horribly bad o lines is nothing that anyone else has to deal with. The line his rookie year and 2021 when they went to the Super Bowl were abysmal. Guys not even playing football anymore were 80% of those lines.
2022 was the year. It makes me sick that o line fell apart with injuries the last 4 games of the year. We had to deal with that bullshit coin flip game that Alex Cappa got injured in and he was never the same. The offense that year wasn’t hitting explosive plays but they were going down the field with long sustained drives. The defense was on fire and getting the opportune plays they needed. They have not had competent safety play since Bates and Bell went out the door. Bell fell off but Bates had they signed him early to get ahead of the market should still be here. It was the best team they had since the 80s before my team. Even better than the 2021 Super Bowl team.
Any given Sunday
You know, I got confidence in our Offensive line this year. It’s not perfect but it should get the job done. But I’m definitely concerned about the defense.
