I could possible see him higher. But at his AAV, who can argue?

  1. I think I could *see* him getting as high as 5th, but I don’t particularly mind 8th. I think those 3 could be swapped without complaints

  2. NHL is currently obsessed with offensive defensemen that require a player of Slavin’s caliber to make sure that they aren’t being caved in by beer league level players. Personally think outside of a few truly elite two way defensemen that most offensive focused defensemen aren’t winning players. Very glad Slavin will no longer be paired with one of the slowest 10-15 players at his position this season as well.
