Why do I have a feeling there will be a Dylan Cease resurgence in ‘26 that will be much like Sean Manaea (quoted below) once we let him go…

They were ripe for the taking. Dodgers offense has been dead. They tried to give us one Friday, but instead we gift wrapped them both games. It’s telling how scared/stupid/gutless they play against this bunch. Yesterday was as bad as it gets, but it kind of summed up this years disappointments. Cease and the offense. Just find a way to salvage one.

Getting out of here with a win and a tie for the division lead would be huge. The most injured team is baseball is starting to finally get healthy which positions them great to start playing like they were expected.
