MAJOR UPDATE! Miami Heat chose dru smith over Kai jones…🤦🏽‍♂️| Heat will not add a BACKUP CENTER

Miami Heat Nation, what is going on? So, in today’s video, we got tons of Miami Heat news coming out today. We’re going to be breaking down the Drew Smith contract details. We got terrible news involving Kai Jones and Trey La, and plenty of more. Now, before we do start today’s video, if you guys enjoy Miami Heat content, we do upload every single day. Our goal this year is to upload for 365 days, and I couldn’t do without you guys. So, I just want to say I appreciate y’all. I love y’all. Continue to keep liking, sharing, subscribing, and let’s get back into today’s video. So, if you guys didn’t know, Drew Smith is officially on a standard deal. He signed a threeyear deal with the Miami Heat, making him the 14th roster spot on this team. So, this is kind of the contract details. So, year one is fully guaranteed, but year two and three both carry conditional guarantees. So, it’s not a guaranteed contract. There’s probably some stipulations in it, probably injury things, but they still locked him up and it’s not good news, which I’m going to tell you next. So, pretty much the Miami Heat decided to go with Drew Smith over a backup center over Kai Jones, which they worked out last week, and veteran Trey Laus. So, we didn’t know about Trey L until recently, but we knew about Kai Jones, who’s very excited. We want him on the roster because we know what he can bring. Now, when you look at this Miami Heat roster, we got tons of guards. Drew Smith, Terry Rosair, DaVon Mitchell, Kasparius. And the crazy thing about it, I have a film that Spo is going to play Kasparius. Well, Drew Smith more over Kasparius. And we want our rookie playing. But not only that, from Barry Jackson, there is no current plans to add a 15 player at this time. Miami isn’t isn’t expected to add a backup center on a standard contract soon, but he also said it’s possible that could be addressed with another trade. Meaning when they throw in it’s possible, he’s just guessing. We’re not getting a backup center. The only time we might get it, maybe the buyout market, maybe before the trade deadline, but this is the roster that we are going to be rolling out with this season. As you see, that’s we’re going with Simone Kashad, DaVon Pel, Drew Smith, Kasparius, Yovids, our big core. I mean, this is the core that we’re rolling with. No backup center. And I don’t know what made them think that we don’t need a backup center. It It just doesn’t make sense. We’re going to get dominated in the boards. We already did past seasons, but this year is going to get worse. So, like I said, 14 guarant guarantine spots filled with the signing of Drew Smith. We still got one two-way spot still open, but Miami is just going to leave that 15 spot to stay under the luxury tax. So, pretty much they traded away Haywood Highmith for absolutely nothing by giving draft capital and they said, you know, we’re we’re going to roll with Drew Smith. They pretty much chose Drew Smith over Haywood Highmith. They chose a player in Haywood Heismith who yes, he had a down season, but it’s hard to find perimeter defenders like Haywood Heismith and it’s like he was working on that shot. That shot was improving. You could tell each year when you look at Drew Smith, and I’m not a hater on Drew Smith, you could tell early in the season he was playing way better. He was he was playing solid basketball. But the problem is he’s coming off Achilles injury and he’s coming off a ACL injury. Those are tough injuries. Just having one of those injuries could possibly end somebody’s career. The fact that he’s coming off both of those injuries and getting a guaranteed contract for year one and partial guarantee for two and three for a player that hasn’t really done much for this organization and team. It’s just it’s terrible management. It it really is way too many guards. What are you going to do with the guards? You know what I mean? And I think our only hope at this point to save this off season is somehow someway we get rid of Terry Rosair and we try to flip it for voots or something. But this is what we’re rolling with this year. And then I seen something funny with this and I just started laughing. I even made a a comment about this. So Andrew Wiggins has had a great summer with the Miami Heat. Um this is coming from Greg Sander. He said the Heat are impressed with how much time he spent at their facilities. And let’s talk positive about Wiggins. Wiggins, he came late after the trade deadline. He was dealing with stuff. He was dealing with an injury. Wasn’t playing his best basketball. This is the first time this offseason where he’s going to get a full off seasonason. He’s going to be fully healthy. Hopefully, his mental is fine and everything goes well. And he plays Andrew Wiggins basketball. It gives us 20 plus points a game. A solid defender. Helps out Tyler. Helps out Bam. Helps out Norman Pal. But who cares if he had a great summer. Guess what, guys? I had a great summer, too. He’s supposed to be in the gym. He knows he had a bad postseason. He knows. He knows he was awful. He knows he was unplayable. He better be in that gym. He better be working. You know what I mean? And honestly, hopefully he gets his trade value up so we can flip him during the trade deadline. But then again, the Miami Heat, they never want to flip their players and get stuff out of these players knowing they’re not going to stay long term. That’s how the front office works. Don’t be surprised if we get absolutely nothing for Andrew Wiggins. We got nothing for Haywood Highmith, which the Brooklyn Nets are going to go out there and flip him and get three seconds while we had to give up a second just to get off his contract. It’s pathetic. But hey, that’s the Miami Heat news coming out today. Breaking down the Drew Smith details. No longer Kai Jones is coming, at least for the moment. That’s the roster we’re rolling with. So hopefully you guys enjoyed today’s video. If you guys did, continue to keep liking, sharing, and subscribing. Appreciate y’all. Love y’all.

  1. One injury to Bam or Ware we are in really bad shape.

Powell, Herro, Mitchell, Smith Larsson, Rozier, Jakucionis.

WTF you gonna do with 7 guards?
3 of them probably never gonna see minutes.

  2. Like I said before, Spo don't fully trust Ware as a starter. This team is back at playing small ball basketball with this projected lineup:

    PG: Herro
    SG: Powell
    SF: Wiggins
    PF: Jovic
    C: Abebayo😢
Bench: Mitchell, Ware, Rozier, Smith, Jacquez, Fontecchio

Will players like Larsson, Johnson and Jakučionis ever get meaningful minutes this season? What about Goldin who's in a two way contract?

This 10 game start of the 2026 will either make or break the Heat's season.🤞🏿

  3. I don’t really see it as Smith was picked over these guys. We have another roster spot and they could’ve filled it but they were like naw, money. But we have a glut of guards, so I’m thinking they’re going to make a trade eventually.
