And if you have, if you’re new to our channel, welcome. Let’s start making you some money with this match up between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Toronto Blue Jays. The Pittsburgh Pirates sending out Paul Skor Blue Jays will counter with Kevin Gosman. And Ske coming off a bit of a rough outing last time out. You know, he had a rough outing at Kors Field to start the month of August. gave up four runs on five hits over five innings of work and it was his first Kors field experience. So you can maybe chalk it up to that. Then he came back home six innings and seven hit shut out baseball with eight Ks against the uh the Cincinnati Reds. Then went back on the road and struggled against the Milwaukee Brewers. The team has kind of had Ski’s number this season. Four runs, four innings, and a pair of home runs as well. But now Ske is back home where he’s still been very very solid this season. You look at SK’s numbers, you’re just overall a 1.70 erra, a 191 opponent’s batting average at home has been really really strong this season. And I I like this matchup for skis just cuz you know the Blue Jays have been far less effective on the road this season. They are hitting 312 against right-handed pitching though and it’s the best in baseball in the last two weeks. So something you just got to be very very weary of. Their team OPS numbers are the best in baseball in that stretch. She isolated power numbers are solid, but I still think skins can, you know, do enough through the first five that he can at least keep this one somewhat respectable. On the other side though, you’ve got Kevin Gosman, who, you know, I do or I did, I should say, I did have my concerns about, but you look at his numbers in the second half of the season so far. Gossman a 2.45 ERA. You know, he’s done a great job of, you know, just like I said, limiting damage. You look at some of his recent starts, seven innings of one-run ball at Kors Field, seven innings of two-run ball against the Chicago Cubs in a game that the uh the Blue Jays lost four to one. That’s just, like I said, it’s cuz they couldn’t get him any run support. But I think that Gossman could have another strong start here against a Pirates lineup that is below league average, just outside the bottom 10 in terms of uh batting average against righties in the last two weeks. Their team OPS numbers are bottom five. So to me, this just seems like a low-scoring game through the first five innings. I think that after that, you know, it’s kind of all bets are off because, you know, the Pirates bullpen has been the worst in baseball in the last or one of the worst in baseball, I should say, in the last two weeks. A 5.66 staff ERA. Toronto hasn’t been much better at 4.54. I think that game truly becomes a coin flip at that point. Maybe I give the edge to Toronto. Um, but I’m going to roll the under in the first five. Like I said, I think we think we get two strong outings from these respective starters.
