The A’s have taken the first two of this three game series looking to sweep an Angels team that’s had the green and gold number in 2020 five. Jeffrey Springs on the bump for his 24 th start of the season and for the left hander outside of his previous outing, which was against the Tampa Bay Rays, he had thrown together three quality starts. So for the lefty just looking for a little bounce back, looking to get himself back on track here against the Halos this afternoon. Neto leads it off for the Halos against Jeffery Springs and it is lifted to deep center field Butler moving back, slowing at the track to make the catch one pitch and one out and 2 67 10 homers. And langeliers went down to a knee missing that pitch. That’s out. Number two, Brent Rooker will be the batter 10 line drive to left that will drop down for a hit, moving over to get it is Ward Rooker moving to second Ward misplayed it off the wall and Rooker has a two out double. He’s a double machine of Blake giving him 30 now for the year, Tyler Soderstrom has a 15 game hitting streak. Soderstrom swings on the first pitch. That is a great changeup off the plate, just punched it to right field. Look, how far that’s off the plate. The Angels hit it well past the save chance for, for me, but he can still finish it up in his first game. Back. Fly ball to center field. Is there, say good night to the A it was one big 10th inning as the Angels exploded for six runs and they’re able to avoid a sweep here in Sacramento. They win it 11 to 5, a lot of chaos in that 10th inning for the Halos again, another victory in that extra innings. Angels get their ninth extra inning win this year tying Cleveland for the most in the major leagues.
