I know a lot of people um I know a lot of people don’t like to hear that, but that is the truth. He’s 22. You know it. Some guys are very bad early on defense. I could give you a great one. I’m not saying that Jason Dominguez is going to be a gold glover in left field out of nowhere. But again, at the end of the day, you know, Jason Dominguez is 22. He’s just getting started. I know I see some people saying Juan Sodto the difference between the difference between Jason Dominguez and Sodto is that Jason Dominguez has elite speed. Juan Sodto doesn’t never had elite speed. So there there is a little bit of a difference in that regard that, you know, Dominguez could be a guy that could, you know, make up a lot of ground with his base run, with his speed. You know, Aaron Boon, I can’t believe I’m saying this, but Aaron Boon said it best in spring training, and I think it’s one of the best comments Aaron Boon has ever made. I I really do. I think it was one of the best ones he ever made. He said straight up, I don’t know why he couldn’t play left field. And that’s great. That that is a brilliant comment and he’s right. I got a funny story about that. So, as Judge is going to come up, so one one day Omega was Mega was off leash trained. So, he could be off his leash and he wouldn’t chase other dogs or other people as that is low. So, Omega was very very well trained. And you would see a huge dog like Omega and you’d be like, “Oh my god, I’m not going to go near him.” He was very gentle, but not gentle when it came to Jira. He would protect that. He would protect her all the time. No doubt about it. So one time as Judge aligns this one right to short and that will end the inning. We go to the bottom of the third. Cardinals coming up. Dogs are the best though, man. Dogs are amazing. Um, Omega Omega unfortunately got bloat and bloat is a very very dangerous thing for dogs. I mean um unfortunately there’s there’s really nothing you can do. Uh even if they’re young, male dogs get it a lot. Big chested dogs get it a lot. Um males of course that are heavy big dogs, they get bloat quite often. Uh, basically what bloat is is that they get gassy and their stomach flips and it twists and I mean there’s nothing you can do. Unfortunately there’s you’re helpless. There’s nothing you can do. If you get it early, a lot of times you could debloat them and that’ll fix it a little bit. But unfortunately for large male dogs and you know your akitas get them. Um malamutes get them. Uh German shepherds get up get it. A lot of them are prone to it. You know it cuts off all cir. It’s a horrible thing to the point they can’t even move after a while and they just go and it’s it’s a extremely painful death and that’s the one thing that I always hate to think about because Omega was such a good dog. He didn’t he didn’t deserve to go that way because he was such a such a good dog, man. He didn’t deserve that. But it’s um it’s a horrible horrible death. um he was on medications and everything and they did their best to to make sure that he went out nice and easy, but um it’s it’s a dangerous thing for for larger larger dogs, larger male dogs especially.
